Have you bought any good corn on the cob yet?

I went to the store last week to buy some corn on the cob. It was on sale for 19 cents an ear. Of course by the time I got to the store, the corn that was left was no good. So I still haven't had any corn on the cob for the season. Have you had any good corn on the cob yet this season?

That's a good idea. Maybe I should buy some this summer to freeze for the winter.

No fresh corn on the cob here for several months as we've just come into the planting season. I do so look forward to it though - last year I had a huge garden where I lived and grew my own but won't be able to this year.

It was delicious and although a lot of work getting it planted then just kept watered and weeded - was worth the work.

That's great that you were able to grow your own corn. Was it easy to do? I would love to be able to do that but I don't think I would have much success.

I have not gotten any corn on the cob yet this year. My kids love it though, so I will have to get some for them in the near future. They could make a meal out of just corn on the cob.

Corn is not ready here yet but it shouldn't be long. I ALWAYS wait for the farmer's market to have it. It is so much better than what the grocery has because it is grown locally.

19 cents an ear? wow- that is cheap! it is usually about 5 for $2.00 here. but i have been buying it for about a month or so now- as soon as i saw it out in the store i was so excited and bought some. i'm lucky because my two little picky ones will eat it, too! lol so at least once a week we have been eating corn on the cob (or cob on the corn as my 4 year old says) and it is so good! i absolutely love it- it's one of those things that you see and eat and you just know it's summertime again. :)

Yes it was cheap. I guess I needed to get to the store at the beginning of the sale. You're right about corn giving the summertime feeling. It's a nice feeling isn't it?

I have to say that I have not yet. I would like to get some good corn, but everyone I talk to says it hasn't been too good yet. I was thinking of getting some for this weekend.

You should definitely get some for the weekend. I just bought my first corn today at the store. I'm really hoping it's going to be good. Fingers crossed.

Not in a while, and when I do I cut the corn off the cob so it doesn't get stuck in my teeth.

It is a bit annoying getting the corn stuck in the teeth.
