cop kills two teens

hello everyone
this morning i heard of the statetroop that killed those two teenage girls that were driving the white mini van. i was watching in session on tv. the cop was speeding chasing another car that was speeding witnesses said that he was during 60 in a 35, at the stop sign he didn't even stop no lights, no siren nothing, another cop said that it was procedure for them to go thru intersection with no lights on or sirens on, how can that be is that not dangerous like this tradegy shows us. i thought they had to at least slow down and turn the lights and sirens on to go thru a intersection.
my question to you is what do you think..... me i think they should have to turn them on at least 1000 feet from a intersection, its thier responsibilty to make sure its clear just like it is ours, he hit them they didn't hit him

I hadn't heard about this but I think it's sad. I think though that if a cop is chasing someone they have to have their sirens on regardless of where they are. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but I would think it is. I hope that the cop gets what for when it comes to being reprimanded. Cops are supposed to be the one's who set an example!

from what i heard on tv he is facing to 2 counts of vehicular manslaughter for it i agree with you completely he's facing jail time if found guily. i also heard that he siad that he remembers stopping at the stop sign and witness i believe said that witnesses said that he didn't stop, they are waiting for results from the black box inside the police car.

I hope he isn't lying because if he is it's going to look even worse on him! The cop should know that as is, because I'm sure he's told or has known someone who's told a person to tell the truth as it's easier. Maybe he's still in shock, but whatever the reason I hope all involved will get the justice they deserve!
