My hubby and I lived in an apartment before we got married. There was plenty of space. I don't think I could have said the same if my children had been with us. Been helping a family member look for a place. For what the rent is 800 sq ft isn't much for the price. Could you live in such a small space if you had to?

I live in a trailer which is possibly about 910 square feet not really sure but I think it is. But I have lived in smaller. So yes I would. Space is nice and all but if your working all week you don't get to enjoy it much and on the weekends when it comes to cleaning..a person is glad to have that. When a person has kids it can be cramped and all but still doable.

I lived in a single wide trailer myself in my 20's. I affectionately called it my lil shoe box.

We're currently living in a single wide, 3 bedroom trailer with 5 kids. There are many reasons why we chose this. We did have a 2 story 3 bedroom house before we moved, but it was not ours, and it was in desperate need of repair which the owners weren't doing. We have bad credit so we could not get our own mortgage. We have pets which most apartments won't allow us to bring with us, and we can't afford to pay $700 or more a month which is what most places are charging for 2 or 3 bedrooms. So we're cramped, but we can afford our bills and our cats are here with us. What more can we ask?

I owned my tiny cottage for 14 years then sold it and bought a slightly bigger house. I had one son and one dog when I moved. Now I have two sons and am expecting a baby girl. I have also got two dogs. So my family has grown and my house feels too small. My toddler son is disabled and I know that he would be better off if we move to a bungalow.
