The task was "Search for Baby Gyms on Google" and go to page 1 can anybody look at the result and tell if "www.ratetag.in/" is the secound link in results for search in google. But the task creator has rejected my task saying there is no such link in search result. If it was rejected there is nothing you can do. If it was returned for editing (for the writing assignments) then you can redo it and submit it again. For the ones where you have to get URLs and websites, I think you get a decline notice and that's it. I have had about a 93% success rate with both the .20 cent and $2.00 tasks so I can't complain. Just make sure you read the instructions and follow them.

I agree that if the task-setter rejected it (for whatever reason) there is little you can do. MyLot do not guarantee the validity of tasks set here by others. You accept the task at your own risk, effectively.

well, even my task got rejected this morning. I had to write a review on 'TSC Skate shoes' or something like that... They said first person narratives were not allowed. So I re wrote the paragraphs and resubmitted to them... I hope it gets accepted. If your time is not expired try doing it again.

Many of my tasks are rejected. Most of them unfairly. most write 4 paragraphs about something are rejected for me. It says poor crammer, first person account etc.I could not trace any grammatical error . i changed from first person view and still rejected saying something else. I no longer believe on these.

Unfortunately, subha12, the standard of English required in the tasks is likely to be higher than you are capable of at the moment, judging by your posts here. You have to realise that what you consider 'unfair' is based on your perception of your own ability. That may be good enough (and, indeed, usually is) for your discussions and responses on the discussion board but you will have to accept that it is not acceptable for certain of the tasks. We are, I know, not supposed to criticise other members for their spelling or grammar and normally I would not do so but, in this case, I think that it is constructive to point out that you may consider something 'unfair' because you have misunderstood the standards required.

First of all I think I should thank you for your comment where I came to know from you that I write very badly. Then I want to say English is not our mother tongue and still I believe many people from our country write much better English than people who have English as First language. Anyway, I must say for the first time I have come across some response where it is distinctly mentioned we are all wrong and very bad writers.

It sounds to me like the task creator needs to be more descriptive as to who can qualify for such tasks. It's very vauge. Do a search for item such and such... O.K., so far so good, but what it boils down to is - can anyone do this search, or task, anywhere on the planet? I'm starting to feel bad for the myLotters who are having difficulties with tasks through no fault of their own. I've been seeing this quite a bit in the last few weeks. I hope the problems iron out soon so that we can all have a fair chance in accomplishing tasks.

Hello deepika201, i don't think you can do anything about it. I had a task rejected unfairly also claiming plagiarism which i didn't. It took me 3 hours to complete my 500 word task about bath and body products. I am very angry too! I think it's ridiculous. Thinking about given the task a break for awhile.

If your text was too close to someone else's then, regardless of whether you had actually copied it or whether, by chance, your words and phrases matched someone else's, then it would be classed as 'plagiarism'. I cannot comment, of course, on whether or not it actually was. I can only say that there are plagiarism checkers out there that are very good and will score a piece of text very accurately.
