well I wanted to initiate this discussion in some other category but not finding any so suitable I opted for "LIFE" only.
This is a hypothesis. Suppose you are decamped and after several days continuous journey you are settled in an island you know not neither you are let known. You know not their language, I mean the tongue of the native people.
Just know that except human flesh everything alive are edible there. And without caring your being vegetarian they have all non veg every time they have their food.
The following morning in the lunch you discovered house lizard fry, earth worm fry, snails being served as salad, the curry would be the dried leech.And wine made of the human sh1t remains. And know that unless you take what are offered to you would be subjected to sever punishment.
Tell me honestly what would you do? Eat them and drink or flee or go for the murderous punishment?

This is an interesting discussion starter. I think in a case such as this, I'm not sure if you are going with being stranded on an Island, or such. It sounds like a POW situation, and it truly depends upon how long you want to survive I'd imagine. I've heard stories of men who were POW's and went through a lot of horrible things and did what was needed to survive. I think in this case I'd do my best to swallow what was given in order to avoid the punishment. If I could safely escape and make it to safety, I'd do so. However, from the stories that have been dramatized about real life POW's, I'm not sure I'd survive very long. I don't have the training that soldiers do. And what little I've seen of Les Stroud's show Survivorman, I'd probably be very poor off.

What sort of wild imagination is this? Were you trying to write a fiction here in this discussion board? How did you thought of that ?
Well,anyway,if that sort of a thing happens to me,I am sure I would flee and try to get myself free of those beasts.
It sounds so similar to the beginning of the movie : King Kong.

hmmmmm that's awful! I know i eat some rare foods that those are simply out of the question. but i don't wanna go for the severe punishment because it's gonna make we demoralized and weak
. maybe i would go for the disgusting foods because they maybe yucky but they too have vitamins, for example, the worms have proteins that you can eat them at a local barbecue stand.

You come up with the easiest questions (Not) Rajiib! What would I do in such a dire situation? Okay perhaps I could taste some of the c**p on offer and more than likely vomit and unable to eat anything else be punished so attempting to consume the 'delicacies' would not be worth the dry reaching. I would opt for the murderous punishment because unable to feed myself I would surely perish anyway!
