Have you ever asked your self, Can I live without cellphone. Today, almost everyone had cellphone, it is already become lifestyle in this century. There are a lot of things that we can do with it, it is not just a communication device. It can be your memo , your diary , your mp3 player , and sometimes i can briefly say that it can serve as your truly loyal friend. Have you imagine yourself without cellphone ? is it addicted ? and why people always want the newest or latest advance feature of cellphone ?

I did so well without a cell phone for so long. I contemplated getting one and I specifically remember one of my coworkers telling me "Dont get one!". He said once I got one I would never be able to go anywhere without it. So I didnt for a while but gave in in the end. He was right. My cell phone is on 24-7. I cant be in a room without it even at home. I love my phone. My daughter can watch the little mermaid on it, I can check my email and messages and most importantly.... I can myLot from it!!! yay!!!

The only time being addicted to your phone is dangerous is when people are texting on the freeway or something crazy of that sort. Some nights driving home from my moms house there will be a car in front of me swerving and when I pass them I can see their cell phone light shining on their face and the driver is taking quick glances up to keep from crashing. Theres a time and place for everything and putting others in danger to send a quick text is crazy.

i totally agree with mybrownhair2008 , i think that is one of the negative affect of cellphone, a lot of people do that. And there is a case in my country when accident happen because he was using cellphone while driving. There is also a campaign in my country that advice not to text while you are driving, I think maybe the government should put some kind of regulation with that. Like for example treat it like wearing a seatbelt or smoking inside your car. Because it really concern about the safety of other people.

Hmmm to answer your question, it depends.. For me, cellphone is the most in demand tool that's used for communicating with your loved ones around the world. Since my boyfriend is away from me and is currently taking a vacation in his hometown, I can say that I won't be able to live without a cellphone. It's hard for me to not to hear anything from him throughtout the day.. so I can say that. But if he's just near me, I will be able to live without a cellphone. My family is just here with me so I'm not worried about losing communication with them. But if by chance they decided to live in another place, I would surely need a cellphone even though my boyfriend is with me. After all, my family is important to me too. I can't afford to be away from them nor abandon them. That's it! Happy myLotting!

Yes, I could live without a cell phone. My son has an iphone, and I'm about ready to break that silly thing! He has to get online on it, every time I say something, to check it on the internet! I'm also tired of getting junk text messages on my phone.

I think I can, I live well when I can't afford a cellphone years ago. And now, I agree with that it's convinent with cellphone for my life, I can send txt messages to our family and close friends, and I can surfing internet via GPRS. Two week ago, my cellphone is broken, and I found I am well without it. There is not work phone after 6 PM, I can enjoy myself after 8 hours working. Haha! I plan to cancel my SIM account soon, then I will be a no-cellphone guy. Haha, what my life will be? Maybe not, I don't know.

There is a Chinese song named " Dates without Cellphone",very humorous. Nowadays cellphone is becoming more and more close to our life.I will feel upset even if only one moment without it.

Mobile phones (as Australians calling it) have become part of my daily life. I carry mine everytime I am away from home. It serve the purpose so well that everyone can contact me and I can use it when I needing it. Not bringing a mobile phone feels like going out naked for me :)

I can Live without a cell phone. I did it for a very long time. Only reason i got one was just in case something happens to my children or family members and someone needed to get ahold of me. Other than that i probably would have never got one jsut because i dont talk on the phone alot.

I agree cellphones can be real addicting. With the ability that cellphones can do now, not just for communication, it can really be hard to detach yourself from this piece of technology. I think I can live without a cellphone because I have lived my life for a long time without it. However, I will sure feel that something is missing without my cellphone with me. It would be nice to have direct communication with friends and family through my cellphone but if it will be removed from me, then I can always go back to traditional phone and emails.

I don't think I could live without my cell phone. It seems like everyday there are atleast 5 phone calls I need to make, some for work and some for friends/family. It's like now in the 21st century no one bothers going out and meeting friends face to face, when you can talk to them from the comfort of your living room. So while I admit it's convenient, you would be right in saying people these days are getting lazy.

I have a prepaid cell phone. It is on only when I leave home. I do not have one of those cell phones with all the new technology and I do not want one. I know people who have the new cell phones and they are addicted to all the different things they can do with the phone. I do not think I could live without the cell phone. I can call family and friends if I need too when not at home.

I hate to say it, but I could never live without my mobile phone. I am completely obsessed with it, and send often more than 100 text messages per day. It's a good job that I earn so much, otherwise I wouldn't be able to pay for it! I am on contract though, so get it a lot cheaper than if I were paying for it any other way.

To me cellphone is not so important that I cannot live with it, but accident always be happened in usual life. When I go to work or back home by bus, I cannot expect that if there a traffic jam in front of the road; or by metro for the same way, I also cannot expect when the train will stop suddenly on the way. At the times above if I should use cellphone to confirm my colleague or my family what happen and where I am.

not really addicted nowadays on cellphone coz I can contact my friends thru internet now and we can chat with webcam on But cellphone comes in handy during emergencies..but i don't need latest versions of cellphone to do that, I'm contented with what I have right now which was with me since college... ....and that was a long time ago...so you can call me sentimental for that .

Cellphone is really an important tool nowadays. Before I was kinda addicted to it, but now I seldom check on it in a day .. I had the latest cellphone as far as I know, but I really come to being bored on it. I seldom reply on friend's messages, if its not important. My husband is working abroad, we communicate on Yahoo messenger or skype, but a lot on on-line games,, lol.. And we spend about 8 hours on the net, since I own a net cafe so it's easy way. Cellphone for me is only for important things, including families and business matters.. So I still can say "I can't live without cellphone."
