Do you have a favorite character? I used to read my aunt's hoard of comic magazines when I was younger. Some of them are now made into films or tv series. For the local ones, I always wanted to be like Darna off to save the world. Later on I also thought that Niknok was funny. There were also some imported comic magazines and my favorite then were the super friends especially Superman. I also used to read Archie's though I liked Jughead better than Archie. He's so indolent, he's so funny. How about yours?

I think my favorite Comic Book Characters are the ones you can find in the movies. My grandfather collects comic books and growing up I know that it was seldom we flipped through these as they are collectibles and he doesn't want them to be damaged. I think he would get two copies sometimes if it was something he was interested in. One to be a collectible and the other to be read! Well I appreciate the response!

I wouldn't know but I assume so! He sales and trades some already, but he has been collecting for as long as I can remember! It's not so much the small fortune he could make, I think collecting's more then just that. Lol, it's also fun, but I know the money helps too, especially in this economy!

I heard that comic book collections can be very costly especially the rare editions. Good for him.

Actually, I saw the movie first before I got to read the Superman comics. I was really into Clark Kent then or should I say Christopher Reeves.

When I was a kid I would read the Archie comics. I wish I had a few of them around the house someplace as they would probably be worth a little bit of money today.

I grew up with Superman and Batman comics. Then in the mid sixties Marvel came out with Fantastic Four,Spiderman,The Hulk and I was hooked. I still have a collection of comics I've had since I was a kid and the value of them just keeps going up!

I read a couple of the Archie comics and liked them, but haven't read them in a very long time. I don't know, I like characters from movies more than comic books. Probably because I don't ever really read comic books...lol. My favorite character is tied between Metatron in Dogma and God in Bruce/Evan Almight. ^_^ Alan Rickman and Morgan Freeman just pwn like that.

I have quite a few. It is hard to make up my mind but I like the old classic Spider man comic books. He had some real issues like paying bills and not having a good love life. He was plagued by problems. There was a story in which he had an ulcer. Marvel was tops as far as mixing reality with fantasy.
