I think sleep is very necessary for you. I don't think it is my everything, but I do get as much as I can. Especially if it's been a really hectic day . My life had finally got to the point where my children were grown, I could sleep whenever I wanted, nap whenever I wanted. Life was good, as far as my sleep patterns went. Then my granddaughter came along. I'm a little more sleep deprived and definitely feel it. But my granddaughter is worth it!

though I think that sleeping wastes my "living time", I find it "entertaining". it is something to spend your time with when I'm bored, or when I need to be energized the morning (or afternoon) after. as of now, you must've figured out that I could sacrifice sleep for something. I refuse to sleep to meet a deadline, or when I seriously need some late-night entertainment, to make up for a tough, and boring day at school. but don't get me wrong, I'm also in to relaxation by sleeping. In fact, I light up incense sticks before going to sleep. :)

I cannot exist normally without a sleep, and, being opposite to you, i am not ready to sacrifice it for some other things :) Sleeping is very important to me because when i have just a little of it every day, i will not feel myself comfortable until i get some good sleep (which usually happens on weekends). Waking up early in the morning does not make my body adjusted to that at all, but at least it is better to wake up at the same time every day, and to go to bed accordingly.

Sleeping is absolutely necessary for me. You don't want to see me without sleep. It's ugly. However, I can sacrifice it when I need to. Every Sunday I have to get up with only 4 hours of sleep for work or if there's an emergency I'll do without sleep. When I'm driving home to visit my family I go for 2 days without sleep just to make it there sooner. So yes, I can do without sleep when I need to, but I really prefer not to.
