Mom of buried NM boy said she killed him

Police say the mother of 3-year-old boy found buried at New Mexico playground told investigators she intentionally suffocated him.
Albuquerque Police Chief Ray Schultz says 23-year-old Tiffany Toribio was arrested early Thursday.
He says the Toribio told officers she had taken her son, Ty Toribio, to Alvarado Park, where she placed her hand over his nose and mouth and suffocated him.
The boy's body was found Friday.
Albuquerque court records show Tiffany Toribio was arrested early Thursday on an open count of murder and several counts of child abuse resulting in death. She's being held on $250,000 bond.

Yes, she said she suffocated him then had second thoughts, did CPR on him and then proceeded to suffocate him again. Once she confessed she I think should just go to jail for the rest of her life. If she didn't want the little boy she could have given him to someone who would have wanted him. There are so many people out there that want kids and can't have them. What I don't understand she claims her parents thru her out because she wasn't taking proper care of her little boy. So why did the parents not keep the little boy and make her leave. I seriously don't understand that unless of course she is lying. I will never be able to wrap my brain around a parent killing their own flesh and blood.

omg, this is a sad news... poor little boy...
here i am worrying too much about my son who is sick now, while some mommy had just killed her own little boy... why did she do it? so heartless. that boy is so young he cant fight back, i feel sorry for him. i hope his killer will be punished severely for the life she had taken...
may he rest in peace.

Its really sad to know, there are such kind of mothers in this world.

I don't understand why this monster has a bond set. This is insane. I feel sick when I see this story. As a mother of 2 little boys, I would say that you would have to be sent straight from hell to this. Have a great day though :)

omg very sad news poor boy can't give a chance to live! is the mother have insanity? well do you think she can sleep of what she did to his son? better she is at jail or mental institution she is dangerous!

This kind of news always disgust and shocked me to the core. How can a mother do that to her own child? I know there is always a question if that person is mentally stable but to those who didn't have insanity issues, it is another case.
How can this mother forgot those 9 months this little boy was in her womb and taking care of him for 3 years? These memories are so precious for a mother. As a mother myself, when I hold my newborns for the first time, I promised them that no harm will come to them and I will take good care of them all the time.
May this little boy will find justice and may he rest in peace. As for the mother, she should get the same treatment she had given to this little boy.

omg...i wander how a mother can do this to her own child! this is insanity...
its sad that when there are couples who are struggling to have a child, there still some who can kill their child...instead of taking care and loving it.
a child is a precious gift from God that every parent should be thankful about, and be responsible enough to take good care of him.
but anyway i'm not in the position to judge that mother who do that to her child, i still don't know her reasons. but whatever her reason is...what she've done is very unhuman & not acceptable to human law and to God's law!
