Going Out to Eat

My husband and I usually eat at home. But one night a week, we head out for dinner. One of our local bars has tacos (and margaritas) on special on Thursday nights. I look forward to this night each week! I always get the taco salad. It is super tasty. The meal is cheap. The best part is that I dont have to do dishes when we are done!
How often do you go out to eat? Where is your favorite place to eat? Do you have something special you usually order when going out?

We maybe go out once a month & we usually just go to a buffet. That way the kids can try new things & the one we like to go for serves steak fairly often for dinner & trust me my hubby has atleast 3 good size pieces = our monies worth!!
I really miss eating Chinese but the Chinese buffet near us has gone down hill, they remodeled, jacked up their prices and got rid of several meat dishes & replaced them for things like green beans sautee'd in garlic

Yeah I don't get it either. Like they made this veggie and shimp dish that was pretty good. Then they went and stopped using shrimp in it and substituted a few bits of immitation crab. My Aunt has said the same thing and so have others. I think they still get business because they are a buffet and the only Chinese Buffet w/o driving 30min+ Though there is a small restaurant that puts on an adaquate buffet, the only problem is it's just lunch time and drinks are pricy. So it seems one cannot win.

I hate when they raise prices and things get worse! That never makes sense to me.
Buffets are great. We have a favorite buffet that is all kinds of homestyle cooking. I can make some of it, but the food is just so good that I dont even care!

My fiancee and I have been eating out a lot lately. Our jobs are both very demanding right now and by the time we get home, we don't feel like cooking. It's not so good on our budget. lol Typically though (before our jobs got so demanding) we would just go out a few times a week.
I pretty much have a favorite item at each restaurant we go to. I order the same thing or two each time we go. Once I get a favorite, I sometimes have a hard time branching out because I don't want to be disappointed if I order something else and don't end up liking it.

I eat out evry weekend, I allow myself to be lazy during this time. If you have meal at home, you'll have to not only wash dishes but also cook by yourself. As usual, I went to a french or italian restaurent on Saturday, and a vietnamese or japanese restaurent on Sunday. I also want to try new dishes as mush as possible, so I don't care about special dishes, as long as they tast good.

We go out once a week. It is a whole family kinda thing. But like you I appreciate the not cleaning up. A date for hubby and me is going to the local Starbucks for morning coffee. Helps with the "get up &go".

me and my boyfriend and soon to be husband, we seldom go outside. maybe twice or thrice each month. but we usually stayed at my place watching tv, eating junk foods, and sometimes i cook food for the both of us to enjoy. and if we have the money to go out and date. we usually went to jollibee. a very well known fast food chain here in our country. and its foods are really delicious. or we'll go to mcdonalds for some fries and coke float. my fave!

We always go to the same place because our friends are the bartenders. It is an easy place to hang out. It is also really cheap. That helps our budgget. We do go to other restaurants sometimes. But that one day a week, we always head to the same bar!
