At Textbrokers.com you get paid to write articles. Your payment depends on what rating you have. For instance I have a 3 rating so I am paid one cent per word, so if I write a 500 word article I make $5. It's not a lot but at least you know you're going to make some money for your writing. Well unless your article is rejected by the buyer. Even if they don't like your first draft they have to give a chance to make corrections and they tell you what needs to be corrected. I joined not to long ago and already got my first payment. See my proof of payment. You might want to give Textbrokers.com a try.

Oh, and just so people don't get confused. It's actually "textbroker" not "textbrokers".

I was planning on joining. This is so sad. Even Helium isn't accessible for me now.

I just started working for textbrokers. I've edited my first article twice. I think if they don't like it this time I'm going to give up. Glad to here they paid you, however. That makes it's a real site!

This seems like a very interesting site that I am going to give a try. How exactly do the articles you write get accepted anyway? Also can you just write about anything you want and post it on there for sale or do you have to sign up to write for certain things? Anyway thanks for the cool site!

There are assignments and different categories. You just choose the assignment you want to do and write the article in as many words as the assignment requests. Once you turn it in it is reviewed and excepted or sent back to you for rewrite.

I just joined yesterday and submnitted my test article. they ask you to submit a sample so they can rate you. your rating will determine how much you are paid. as your rating increases or decreases your earnings will change.
