i do, but of course not in purpose. i am colored blinded so sometimes i get to use the toothbrush of my wife. if i use my battery toothbrush then i know i wont get mistaken. my wife does not use any battery operated toothbrush so i dont get mistaken with that. though i really dont care if i sometimes uses her brush, i kiss her everyday so i dont find something wrong with it.

it is your right if you dont like your partner to use your toothbrush. its a personal thing so its everybodys right to protect or to make sure you only use it alone and not share. my wife does not care if sometimes i grab hers and use it. i use my electric brush often so she does not worry much about it. thanks a lot for the response

well said ling, and i do respect that opinion. it is your higi right to make sure no one elses uses that brush than just you. i dont have problems when i sue my electric one to but i still have a normal brush standing next to my wifes brush. thats why when i need to use that i get all mistaken. thanks a lot for the response and have a great weekend

I do, but only if i forgot to bring mine when we travel, but we usually don't share toothbrushes, but it's not really big deal because we both don't have very sensitive teeth, gums. etc. I think there's nothing wrong with that.

I'm kinda funny about my toothbrush . If I had to use someone elses or if they had to use mine I would soak it in peroxide , or put it in the trash and buy new . I'm real careful to keep my toothbrushes clean , they can carry alot of germs .

I don't. I am sensitive with using my the other personal belonging especially tooth brush, shaver, soap etc. It has nothing to do with her having some sorts of disease or so... just my personal preference is different from her.

well i respect that opinion. that is your right and you can do it and tell your other half not to invade your personal properties and taht would be perfect. i mean all we need is to tell tham so they wont be touching our personal things. i get angry also with people who touches my things. but with my wife it is different. though she does not use my brush i just sometimes forgets what is mine and use hers instead. thanks a lot for the response my friend

No, I do not use my husband's toothbrush. Even though we've been married for the past 14 years and kiss often, I just don't feel comfortable using his toothbrush. I even get grossed out by the thought of it. My husband on the other hand doesn't mind using mine. But when he does I tell him he can keep it!

I do that too. We've actually had some rude house guests that have used any toothbrush they find. If we couldn't figure out which one they used, all are thrown out and we have to get new ones. Thankfully since I started using hard toothbrushes I haven't had that problem. No one else seems to be able to have the gums that can handle it.

I have use my Husband toothbrush few times by mistake and I also don't care if I use his and I don't think that he would care either. I am not colour blinded, but there are times that I grab his brush and just realised it when I'm brushing my teeth because I used soft bristle and he use medium.

No!I don't like to use my wife's brush and she won't like to do the same.I think, this should not be related to kissing.Coming to you,you have an excuse with your color blindness.Without it,will you like to use your partner's?

its okay for me to use her brush i dont have any problem about that. but i have thick teeth that when i use her brush the bristle really looks over used har har har. her brush are the soft ones only. so if i use it you can imagine what it looks like. thanks a lot for the response

I do too used my boyfriend toothbrush in purpose. Sometimes when I hang out at his house and I want to brush my teeth I just used his toothbrush. He doesn't mind and so am I. Its not a big deal since it is the same as kissing him. But I don't used my family member toothbrush because I am not comfortable with that.

I don't use his toothbrush, however I understand your problem that being colorblind would create this types of mistakes. So, for us, none of us is colorblind, so it's no problem if we have different colors. Sometimes we use different brands of toothbrushes and that avoids these kinds of mistakes. I wouldn't also use his toothbrush because we have two different holders at two opposite sides: In his, he puts also toothbrush and shaving blade and I share my holder with my son's toothbrush which is very small and has children's designs on it. I think I would immediately realize that it's not my toothbrush, if I were to use someone else's by mistake.

I don't just because there are a lot of different germs in the mouth. I kiss my partner too, but it's just not the same to me. You're not getting the germs from deep down in their teeth from kissing (or at least, not usually, lol). In my family we all have different types of toothbrushes. I only use hard toothbrushes so I would instantly know if it wasn't mine just by looking at it, even without color.

I love my boyfriend very much, but I would never share a toothbrush with him. I am not a clean freak or afraid of germs, but something about sharing a toothbrush is just a little too much for me. When I found out my boyfriend was using my toothbrush because his was getting old, I bought him one of his own and a couple of spares, just in case (I always forget to buy toothbrushes when I need them!)
