Hello Mylottors, Good Day! I bought this up is because one of my room is a typical girl taht can't live without her cell-phone. All right, i might be a little bit exaggerated. But what i am trying to say is, she would become very grumpy when she forgot to bring her phone with her when she goes out. I mean A she is not a sales person, B she is not a manager or key person in the company. I just don't get it. For me, i can live without my cell phone for 2 weeks. And when i was travel aboard, i can live 1 week without my cell phone! What about you?

If you do not happen to make any arragements or attend to any kind of organisations during that period, it's possible to spend that time without your mobile. But i live in a crowded city and still i will have to use it to be able to meet anyone although we can precisely agree on the meeting point; people can be late because of missing mass transit, or can't find a place to park, can come across some friends and stays late for the meeting, etc.

Hi Amorti, I think my question for you will be, can you live without your cell phone when you are on holiday? We all know that for work and normal life, we need to have cell phone as our communicate tool. What about on holiday? Are you still worry about your work too?

Yeah i should have commented the other way around as well :) Well, in fact it depends; if i'm really up to that holiday, just to listen to myself and rest, i would throw away the mobile but if my job would be a one which puts pressure on me to stay alert and informed all the time i would have to have my mobile with me, but surely i wouldn't enjoy that ;) Long story short, i can live without my mobile except business related issues.

I actually have to say that since I really on my cell phone in both my personal life to keep in touch with close friends and family on a daily basis. But I also rely on my company given cell phone for my personal life as I usually receive calls from co-workers and use that on the job to keep in touch with not only my co-workers but also to call the clients while out on the field. I am in the IT field and it is very important for me to have the cell phone given to me. So I don't think I would be able to live a week, two days or even two hours without my cell phone.

Hi Harryt, I got your point. You can't leave your cell phone without 2 hours. That is because of your work and family. Right? It's okay. But just curious, what about you don't work at IT filed? Can you live without your cell phone for 2 days?

I could live without my cell phone for sure. I was just away for two weeks and bascially lived without my phone. I've lived for 50 years without so I could easily go back to living without it for good. In fact my contract is up come January and I may get rid of it.

Since i'm working as a professional, i definitely can't live without my cellphone. But when i was a student, i can do it. I think a cellphone is a very important gadget in this modern live. No matter you are rich or poor, working or not, boss or employee, the fact is with a cellphone beside you, you can make your life easier and better. You can get many opportunities right to your palm. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Hi Dianmelydia, Thanks for your responding. I don't deny that cell phone plays a very important part in our modern life. All i am saying is that you can not relay on it too much. I think cell phone is the devil to force you work harder and harder.
