What is it with my girlfriend??? are she kind of wierd???

She never replied your text message? but rather spent time texting with with other friends she had?, maybe there is only reason for that, she got bored with you LOL! just joking. Anyway I don't think she's "weird" she just have more meaningful girl-talk with her friends rather than texting with you my friend. I have a suggestion for you, try not to text her and wait till she do it first and that could make your messages meaningful to her. Just a suggestion.
