My kids have joined althletics, and the coaches only concern is their diet. They have to be fed very very nutritious food, and i just know to cook regular food. So do i need to go to classes, or is there any way to figure this out?

Well, i don't think it's necessary for you to join any cooking classes regarding this matter. It's quite expensive and you need to spend your time into it. I think you can just refer to the nearest library for the cookbook that contain recipes that are suitable for athletics to consume. I remembered my mother was also having almost the same problem like you, so she just headed to the library to search for the relevant cookbook. She was able to solve her problem successfully. Hope you're able to solve your problem that way, too..

Hi sweetnsalty! No, i would not think that you need to go to cooking classes. Nutritious food, is a combination of the different food groups. You could look on the internet for different recipes that might interest your children, with food that they like, and that is good for them. If they eat a variety of different foods then i would not worry about it to much. You can make healthy meals and snack that you children would enjoy, without too much of the things they don't need, and they can help out, making it easier on mom, and fun for them.

I think that cooking classes are a great way to add a few fresh ideas to your cooking skills. It would not be a bad thing, but make sure you are doing it for you and your family and not for a coach. That really isnt his place to decide that for you.

If the coach is more concerned about their diet than athletics then I think that coach should have recipes and info for you. You should not have to go pay for cooking classes just because your kids athletic coach is concerned about diets. This is just the way I feel about it.
