Here are some helpful tips to make your life easier. Do you have any helpful hints to share? To keep your car neat and clean, use an empty tissue box as a trash receptacle. It's perfect for throwing away small items such as napkins, food wrappers and paper. And if it falls over, the contents won't spill out. You can prevent rocking chairs from scratching your wooden floors by covering the bottom surface of each runner with a strip of clear adhesive tape. Trouble keeping tube socks white? Try adding 1/2 cup of baking soda to your liquid detergent - it'll supercharge its cleaning power. To make your costume jewelry sparkle in a flash, place it in warm water with two denture tablets. When the fizzing stops, remove and dry. Turn on the cold water before you pour your boiling water from pasta or veggies into the sink. Mixing the hot water from your pot with the cold water keeps scalding steam from rising. For fried chicken with more crunch and flavor, chill flour-coated chicken for an hour before frying. Use a plastic kitchen colander to scoop your child's toys from the tub. Just leave it to drain right inside the tub. When your recipe calls for a greased pan, make sure that you always use unsalted butter. Salted butter can cause food to stick to the pan. Find out if a garment needs to be washed separately by steam ironing a small area between two layers of white fabric. If dye bleeds onto the white, it's not colorfast. Did an unexpected downpour leave your leather shoes drenched? Protect their shape - and guard against shrinkage - by stuffing your wet shoes with newspaper and leaving them to dry. I hope some of these tips will make your life easier and more enjoyable.

oh wow these are great tips, thank you so much for sharing it. we all need these kind of tips you know. i love the idea on tissue box as a mini trash can in the car. anther tip i can add is this: to benefit more from your facial moisturizers- store it in your refrigerators. on the other hand, to get more from your body lotions- pour it in your palm then use a hair dryer to slightly heat it before applying on your skin, hope you find these tips useful as well.

More great tips, misshoney! I'd never heard of either of them. Storing my moisturizer in the fridge sounds refreshing - especially with summer fast approaching. I'm glad you found my tips helpful.

The iron trick is pretty cool. I will have to try that! Denture tablets are amazing! My mom always used them to clean her cups. She uses plastic cups and drinks a lot of tea, so they get really stained. The denture tablets work amazing! The cheapo ones from the dollar store work just fine, so no need to spend a lot of money on fancy cleaners! This is my favorite one that really helps a lot of people: Wet heavy snow sticking to your shovel and making life difficult? Spray the shovel with cooking spray before starting and the snow will slide right off!

Those sound like two great tips! I doubt I'll ever try the snow shovel hint, though, since I live in Florida... Thanks for sharing them.
