All right I am trying Flock, tired of waiting for Chrome to work for Mac

Since I plan to get a Mac, I want a browser that can work with both Mac and Windows. I like Firefox, but I felt that I needed a browser that would make it easier for me to update my pages, see my Facebook, You Tube, and of course myLot without going to the top and going tab, tab, tab. What usually happened that I did not update my blog every often, because it was too inconvenient. I did try Chrome, but it had these little pictures and I could not get it to work without closing one off and going backwards. Safari and Opera were just like regular browsers, even though better then Internet Explorer. So now I am trying Flock. It works on the Mozilla engine, which is what I like, so the question here is for those who do not update their blog is it that you have nothing to say or is it the inconvenience either because you have to go through all the tabs or pages to get to it. plus having to open the site?

Although this post posted more than a year ago but still I response this because just a few minutes ago I installed FLOCK as my new internet browser. This browser load faster than any other that I used before. I like also the feature of viewing the updates of your facebook, twitter and youtube account. If you don't want to see the updates running right side of your monitor you can also close it and open it if you want. I love this new browser.

The computer I have now is dying. However my husband passed awY and now can use his until I get the Mac. Trouble is he preferred a black keyboard and some of the keys are hard to see on his laptop But it is a windows 7 and even though not as powerful as I would like, it will work and I will install Flock on it.

I haven't tried Flock, so good luck with it. I have tried Opera and it just didn't work for me I had to uninstall it. I like Firfox way better then Internet Exlporer but have ot keep it since alot of things still need to be opened with it and some sites do better with it.

I tried Opera and I liked it, but liked Firefox better but I had to uninstall Flock as it somehow got a virus so what I am doing is waiting for the next upgrade to see if it works. But at least I find what it looks like, but until now I am going back to Firefox.

I am saving for a Mac. Got almost enough for it, but I had to use some of my money to buy a piano. Well actually I did not have to. My husband got me a piano for a gift, but I had intended to use the money in my regular savings account for it when I had enough saved up for it, and so I put the amount I had in (leaving a basic amount as a backup) so well I paid 1/5 of the price of the piano. I would have bought one anyway, but at least it did not have to take me five years. The money for the Mac is in my high interest savings account, and I could get one if I withdraw all of it, but I do want to leave a base there. All I need is another %1000 and I can order one.

I really can't answer your question, but I can come in here and thank you for letting me know about a different browser that I'd never heard of. I'm amazed at the number of internet browsers that are available today. I'm currently using Firefox, and i love it, however it screwed up on my computer a few weeks ago. My husband managed to fix it, but if it ever goes again and can't be fixed, I'm glad there's Flock, that works just like Mozilla. Thanks for letting me know.

You're welcome. I had downloaded it on my computer but never opened it. I was looking for one that was aimed for people like me who are always on Youtube, mylot, and want to blog. I found that Firefox did grow down a few times and I do not need all the add-ons. So this one works great.
