I wish Kris the best of luck, but I must admit that I felt very strongly that Adam would win, I mean I was really surprised that Kris Allen actually won over Adam, I mean no disrespect to Kris talents but I honestly felt adam deserved to win, but I guess technically they both won and I believe that they both will have good careers ahead of them. well anyway were you as shocked as I was tell me what you think of 2009 amaircan idol choice?

Well, from what Kris said, he thinks Adam should have won too. But I think in the long run, his loss might help Adam. First, I have to say that until yesterday I had heard neither one of them sing. I don't watch American Idol. But I couldn't read a magazine or watch TV without all the press about Adam. And I think that may have been his downfall. No way do I think he lost because he is apparently gay. I think he got so much publicity that maybe viewers thought he was getting cocky. After all, I saw hardly anything in magazines about Kris, yet Adam was actually on the cover of several magazines. Ultimately, the world will be Adam's oyster. People will pay even more attention if they think he got robbed of the win. He is going to have so many offers he won't know where to start. I see Kris having a long, legitimate career, but never doing anything splashy to get him to the heights of fame. That doesn't appear to be him. I think he is the kind of singer to fly under the radar, even with his win. On the other hand, Adam, even if he never sang another song, would still be successful based on personality and the fascination the public has with him. I already see him someday with his own show. I would have voted for Kris, but then I'm always rooting for the underdog.

Even Kris had expected it was Adam winning the American Idol. I was disappointed by the result. What happen, I don't know , but it left me crying for Adam. Adam was a good sports I hope he really did not expected to win because if he did then he will be really upset right now. Kris, on the other hand have a nice voice but he is not like Adam, the belter. When music is on hand with Adam it change from the original composition, he take it as his own. I don't know if America made a mistake, all I know is America made a choice and that is Kris to win this year. Goodluck for both of them, I really know Adam will have a huge career after the Idol.

I was actully rooting for Kris Allen to win... since he is such a nice guy... and very talented too... when he became a part of the final two... i was so sure he would win because the fans of Danny Gokey would cast their votes in favor of him rather thn Adam Lambert... Adam is very talented... but not everybody can relate to his style of singing...

I think Kris is the larger than life type of singer. He started out as the dark horse or the underdog and made his way up. And it's a bonus that he has the star package; looks, playing guitar/piano and with a crooning, romantic voice. I love his definition of Ain't No Sunshine and Heartless. Thought they were good sounds coming from him. He strike me as Mommy's boy, but he has certainly proved his worth in this competition. Not all can play the guitar, and sing or play the piano and sing. So good for him, and he has this clean image, has a loving wife that seems to dote on him. Awesome...totally cool. As for Adam, he's a talented soul in his own right. Both are winners to me. Just want to add that Kris must be a helluva guy for this time, Idol had a record breaking of 100 million votes. Wow...

Ya I totally agree with you.I also expected Adam to win.Kris winning was definitely a shock to me. In fact both are very good singers and i totally respect Kris but I had never expected him to win.He truly was the dark horse.Adam was definitely in the zone from a very early stage. I had particularly noticed Simon's reaction after the results were announced and it seemed he shared the same thought too. Well maybe Kris may have been a very cute choice for many. But I do love his songs. I feel very bad for Adam.Loosing it after he had been in such a strong positions and delivering each time he took the stage. Anyway all I can say now is Best Of Luck to both. I am waiting for their albums to come out..

both of them are very talented, I'm not really a fan of both of them but yes i really thought that it would be Adam, My sister thought it as well, I guess Adam has this impact that he would be a hard singer to beat. But Kris is talented as well so i guess, both of them will get the super stardom they deserves like the David's last year.

I was surprised Kris won, too. I was really rooting for Adam. But I'm sure Adam will get a record deal or something, from all the fame now and stuff.

Danny was my favorite all the way from his audition but Kris stole my heart when he sang Falling Slowly. That was his shining moment and he just kept getting better from that point on. And he started taking major risks with the arrangements, changing things up, completely rewriting the music and when you really think about the performances, he was the only one who did. All of Adam's arrangements were still recognizable as the originals, so were Allison's, so were Danny's. But compare Kris' She Works Hard for the Money to the original and the only thing that stayed the same was the lyrics. I'm not a fan of Kanye West so I'm a little biased but I completely agreed when Randy told Kris his acoustic version of Heartless was better than the original. I thought so but I couldn't believe any of the judges would say it, as big an icon as Kanye has become in the industry. I was elated when Kris won but now that I've had time to let it soak in, I really think he was the better artist. I think the judges favored Adam a lot and I think in the end that hurt him. His real fans who have been voting for him all along probably voted but the ones who had been voting for Allison or for Danny all along probably decided Adam had it in the bag so why waste their time voting? Kris' fans on the other hand...I was dialing like a woman possessed. I must have called in 2-300 times (didn't get through nearly that many but not for lack of trying).

Good Luck Kris, but I really thought that Adam was going to win. I thought that it would be a choice between Adam and Danny(wrong) and that Adam was going to win(wrong again). I feel confidant that Adam will have an amazing career. I will definitely buy anything that he comes out with in the future. He is an Amazing singer and when I hear him sing its like I feel it in my soul. Amazing Job and Good Luck Adam Lambert.(Even though I don't think you will need it)

Well I had believed that Adam was going to win but towards the last two weeks of the competition I started to think that there was going to be a upset. I guess I contributed to Kris winning because I actually voted 105 times for him. The problem that I had with Adam was the screaming that he did while singing and I felt he was to full of himself. He acted like this was his and he's going all the way to the win. I was so happy that "America" got it right. I honestly believe that Kris is alot more talented than Adam for the main reason that he can play the guitar and piano. Adam is more a Broadway type performer or the heavy rock band type. Otherwise that's it for him. Kris can sing any type of song and you can understand the lyrics and he puts in alot of his own take on the song which makes him so different. I to believe they will both have great careers. I'm still so happy that Kris won!

I think they both are talented and both of them will have a good career ahead of them. Remember the judges always said it is not just singing that make an American idol. You have to reach your audiences make them feel something and the right song choice makes an American idol.
