I'm looking into getting a new computer thats not only easy for me to just set up and go but would be easy for my 76 year old grandmother to use so I wanna know what is the real difference between PCs and MACs? Which do you think I should get?

Usability and ease of use differ between people, but Macs usually last much longer than PCs, and they are much less maintantence.

The main difference between a PC and a MAC would be the operating system. One would be Windows and the other would be MAC OS. For a senior I think the best setup would be to have a PC as it is also easy to use and if she just needs it for basic internet then it would be simple as well. Making sure that all the updates are done and also that the computer is secured by a good anti-virus and a spyware program is a good idea.
