Cheapest place to get graphics for a web site?

Hey I was just wondering if anybody knew the best place to get pictures to put on a web site? I'm not very clued up on the law about this stuff. I figure if I pay for it, then it's ok. Is that right? I have found a few but which is the best and cheapest? Thanks..

I know a best clip art site. You can download as many as you want. But you need to subscribe with monthly or annual fee. But free for overview. Just go to animations.com and you'll find alot of interesting multimedia stuffs. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.
