did you ever think your relationship wouldnt make it?

Was there ever a tough time in your relationship or marriage, when you doubted whether things would work out and that you two would make it through the hard times? For my relationship there was a very rocky time when I was scared that we wouldn't be able to pull through all of the problems, but we stuck with it and got through it all, and now its been over a year since that rough period but we are still together :).....have you ever had an experience like ours?

Hubby and I have went through some pretty bad patches and actually split up once years ago for about 2 weeks. Sometimes it takes a real eye opener like that to really see what the problems are. It was for us and we fixed the problems...things are way better now. It also doesn't hurt that we're both stubborn as all get out LOL

I did had this experience with my first relationship. But it's not about problem, fighting or financial condition that makes me think it's not going to work. It was a bout religion. In my country they have this law which forbid the X religion to marry other religion. He is X religion. I don't to convert to his religion coz I love my own religion. So I just let him go in a good way. We're still friends though.

My husband and I never doubted for a minute that our marriage would work. We have been through a load of easy times, and a load of tough times, and we stuck together through them all. Those tough times were related to our repsective situations clashing, not at all regarding any problems we had with eachother. We worked together, put up a united front, and saw eachother through the hard times.
