Unknow friends on Facebook

I don't add unknow people on Facebook. I think it's not a social network for meet new friend but it's a network for existing friend or old mates that you want to find again after 10 years.
In my opnion Facebook is perfect for this.. and I don't want to add unknow people. I always deny. I only add people who I know.. too if a little bit, or if they're friends of my friend.. but not totally unknow.
I think MySpace is the right place for meet unknow people... not Facebook.
What's your opionion about it?

I totally agree with you. Facebook has put me in contact with several people that I have lost contact with in the past.
If you want to meet new people myspace or tagged is the way to go.

I definitely agree. I delete requests from people I don't know. The people that I deal with are strictly friends and family. I don't get on facebook to meet new people I get on there to talk to the ones I know.
