What is it that makes computers so slow?

My computer has been getting stuck and slow a lot recently.
Some people say if you have too much stuff saved or too many programs on your computer, it makes it slower. But I don't know much about computers, and I don't have much stuff on my computer. What could it be? :o

Reload Windows....Ok, ok, while that would most likely fix the problem, you probably don't want to go through that if you don't have too. So, defragment the drives, make sure you have enough swap space left on the drive, clear the temporary files and check for viruses and mallware....Oh and if you tend to just leave your computer running for days on end, reboot. Beyond that, reload Windows. At least that would be my advice.

First of all what is the configuration of your computer and what software's do you install on it .If there is no balance in the configuration of your computer and software's installed on ur computer obviously your computer will be slow. If your computer is latest configuration then check foe spy ware's and viruses that are on your system. Some times even an anti-virus software slows down your computer.

You can use a utilies tool like System mechanic or tune up.. that makes increase your speed computer and erase the junk file or empty/broken file
