*** How do you find out about new bands/artists?***

Internet, friends, radio, magazines, tv... any and everywhere. I get recommendations from Amazon based on purchases I have made in the past.

There are a lot of ways I find new bands. Most of the time, though, it's through the internet. On myspace and purevolume as well as on message boards. I also find out about new bands at concerts. When I go to shows, I don't always know all of the bands on the tour, so I usually find some new bands that I didn't listen to that way.

Thru Last.fm(Recommendations, Similar artists), Spotify(Similar artists), Magazines, Radio, Tv, Friends and sometimes by accident.

I go to local shows. I wish I could more like I used to though. If I see a band I like I'll check their myspace and usually they have other bands from the area. Occasionally I'll run across a few that I like.
