shorts weather

I really don't like wearing shorts. I hate letting people look at my legs because I think they're fat and kind of ugly so I don't want people to see my legs and make comments or whatever. That bugs me. However I do wear shorts when I am at home. I don't care if my family sees my legs.

Pat, you savvy thing! At least in America, most women have problems with their body images. We're either too fat or too thing; to tall or too short, etc. Like you, I'll wear them at home if I'm sure nobody will see me, but these legs will NOT go public!

Hi Savypat, For me it is a no, I will wear cropped trousers but not shorts in hot weather, even been known to wear a shorter skirt once in a while LOL. huggles. Ellie :D

Hi pat! I do wear shorts too! But, I usely will only wear that at home or around the neighborhood! I don't mind going to the stores in the area that I live in, but if I have to go out further or get on a bus then I will wear capri pants! I just think that at my age it just isn't appropriate for me to be wearing shorts anymore besides around my home or near it!

I have one pair that I love, theyare long shorts that go all the way to my knees. I have never really liked wearing shorts because I have just always been shy about showing so much leg. When I was in High school I was thin and so it was hard to find shorts that were long enough. Now I have gained weight and I just do not want to show off that much so I only wear my shorts when I know I will not be doing much away from home.

I do not because my legs are so ugly! Each of my children left me with horrible varicose veins in my legs. They are huge and ugly. since they are not painful, I have not have them removed since that is an expensive operation! Even if I tan they look like terribly weird bruises. People always ask what happened and all so I choose to not wear shorts! Sometimes when I bike I do wear shorts because they are s much easier to get around in.

I wear shorts all the time. I dont look the greatest in them but my comfort is so much more important to me then the way people think I look in them. When I feel good I feel like I look good so it all works out in the end. I think I will go put on a pair right now. I wear them all winter too.

I do wear shorts out sometimes when I go to town but I wear one's which are of a reasonable length and cover the whole of my bum!

Yes but only on my property. I usually don't where them in public for some reason. Maybe this summer I will change my ways. LOL LOL LOL
