We didn't. Here in MD we have had some cool days so I am sure the water is not warm yet. Some people I know (including my sister-in-law and her family) were going today. They are out of their mind!!!
My girls wanted to go but I said no way! I was not going to watch them turn purple.

No Not really I havnt been to our local pool for ages because I just dont care to go there. I find it kind of embarassing plus I dont like swimming with a lot of people I just find it gross so I dont care to swim in public pools would rather swim in private pools.

I don't go to the pool because I don't know how to swim. Cheers!

I don't swim as I am scared of water. However, my children do and although we didn't go to the local pool today she did go to a pool. We went on a picnic and she got to swim at the pool at the state park. It had been opened since Friday and it has been warm here so I wasn't worried about it. She said that the water was fairly warm.
I am going to take her to the YMCA this week too and let her swim there. I think that she will enjoy going to it.

I haven't gone swimming in so many years! The last time was when my kids were little - August 1992. My son was sure I couldn't swim since he'd never seen me. I'm not that good, but underwater, I can move pretty good. I beat him across the pool. He just stared at me, mouth open. Especially since I dived in to do it.
There is a local pool here in the city, but I have no idea when it opens or what it costs. I've never even looked into it.
