I like this discussion. I get to brag a little... When we were dating, my boyfriend, now Husband, used to kick me out of my OWN kitchen to cook for me! I didn't know how, so he did it all. First three years... then Baby #1 came home and I stayed home... and learned to cook. Now I don't let him because I love it so much! I would love to go to a cooking school! My husband cooks just as often as I do. It's not that men can't cook- they simply choose not to, or their parents never taught them how to cook. My husband is an example of this. His mom did all the cooking in his family, and nobody ever taught him to cook because they assumed that he would eventually get a wife to cook for him. That didn't last long after he moved in with me, though. We both work, and I see no reason why after work I should have to do all the cooking too. I love to cook, but it's a responsibility that should be shared.
