Where is the one place you want to go visit in your lifetime? And why?

I must visit South America in my lifetime. I have to go to Machu Picchu in Peru. It is high up in the mountains and it would be an exciting journey to get there. Walking around historical sites is so fascinating for me. It would be one of my best trips I am sure. I would love to visit Cartagena de Indies in Colombia. It has great architecture and an interesting old town. Nearby are some palm fringed beaches on the Caribbean Sea. It would be the perfect combination for a very special trip. I am currently learning Spanish so the trips would both help my command of the language. I have to go to Madagascar one day to see the lemurs and the lovely landscape. It has glorious beaches and a fascinating interior. The transport there sounds like such a great adventure. I am sure I would find that a very special trip. Those are the top three places on my travel wish list for the future.

I want to go to China, I have never been there, I am in Britain and I see my friends going to china for holidays sometimes which I tend to envy a lot but maybe after my graduation I will go one day for a long holiday as I know there are many places to visit there.

i am in china. but i haven't went to Great Wall. and many interesting place of china i haven't went to . i want to live in US, and i will earn a lot of money in there. then i can travel other place if i earned a lot of money in US.

I think that, as much as I like to travel, the one place I feel I have to visit before I die is Machu Picchu. Even though my biological roots are european, I feel the inca culture very near my soul. It would be a very special trip, not a touristy thing.
