Good evening everyone!..or good morning as it may be in your country! We will have a busy day shopping today. Tomorrow we are all going on a trip to a foreign country to visit an internet friend. Ofcourse there is always a catch. Today we have to shop for 3 things that best represent your country to take as gifts. What 3 things would you bring to represent your country? Dont worry about customs, they dont count in this case!!! Leaving canada...my friend will be getting, a bottle of maple syrup, a bottle of moonshine...(hiccup!)...and a Donair...

I have thought about that since my President needs help giving gifts. A home made quilt (I would choose an Amish one) A cookbook that includes recipies from every state that represents the states representative food, along with any specialty tools to make the dishes. The third gift would be a pair of boots custom made for the recipient (I am from Texas and I love my boots)

Those are great gifts..I would love them all!..I might have to invite everyone to my house so I can get all the lovely gifts... I actually started collecting cookbooks from the different states I have visited. My favourite was from the southern states.

I would bring Poitín (the Irish equivalent of Moonshine) a leprechaun and a four leaf clover.

Does the leprechaun have a pot of gold? I have lots of clover on my lawn right now even some have 4 leaves, im sure!! I have never heard of that drink you are talking about. I think I should taste it first to make sure its Ok to give to someone else!!...Afterall, I started the discussion so I should make sure its OK..
