That's it! Take out the junk and take-out orders. These food have lots of harmful artificial spices and flavorings. Often eat home-cooked food, and I mean food with fresh ingredients, not the quick-fix types.

Hi there. My advice would be to make sure that you cut out as much of the prepared food you eat as possible, and try to eat fresh food, fruit and vegetables. Perhaps this is a large leap at first, so do it by stages, making sure you eat fresh fruit throughout the day. With vegetables, make sure that you salt the water you cook them in with natural grey sea salt, which has all the essential elements and minerals that your body needs. Without this salt, the vegetables cannot be digested properly and your kidneys work too hard to process the water - making you feel ill, and your systems tells you to eat more to get the benefit that your body is seeking - an evil circle! Also with soda, it takes 10 glasses of water to bring your body's pH balance back to normal and combat the effects of drinking one glass of soda. All these things will reduce your energy and make you feel lethargic and not inclined to take any exercise. The best was to exercise is to do it with a friend - promise each other to go for a run, or to the gym together - that way it is not only yourself you are letting down, but each other. Don't promise to do something that you don't enjoy - that is going to lead to failure right from the start - choose an exercise that you actually find interesting and pleasant to do. Why not take up jogging again?Make sure you get plenty of magnesium which helps your sleep patterns, and also potassium which helps to eliminate the feelings of anxiety and stress. Vitamin D is also helpful - 15 - 20 minutes of sunshine 2 - 3 times a week is the natural way to ensure your body has a sufficient supply - why not combine this with a pleasant jog around your local park? What ever you decide to do, the very best of luck to you - feeling lazy when it is not your natural attitude is very depressing.

Cut back on red meat, eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies (especially green leafy veggies)... Another way that is actually very simple is to cut out fried food and soda completely... I stopped drinking soda and lost ten pounds in three months... It may not seem like a lot, but I wasn't even trying to loose weight, I just didn't want to be addicted to soda pop!
