Are you a movie goer?

I had my chance to go to a movie house just this year at the age of 43. I never been to a movie house for I am afraid of the dark and I was told by some of my aunts when I was still young not to go there for something bad might happen. I was encourage by some of my friends they are my co teachers who never used in going to movie houses too. We bring with us our pen light for we are afraid we might slip for it is dark but to my surprise there are guides who will assist you while you are walking. And you know what did I prove myself, that my aunts were wrong nothing bad happens to me infact I enjoyed watching movie and eating popcorn, the only thing harder is the rate of the movie houses it is so expensive. How about you how old were you when you start going to a movie house? Are you a movie goer?

I'm not sure how old I was the first time I've watch movie in the theater, but I think I was 7-8 years old. I never go alone in the cinema and I'm not so afraid in the dark also, but I'll be afraid to watch movie in the cinema by myself. I like watching movies, but we don't go often in the cinema, most of the time my Husband will download few movies in a week and we just watch it in the computer.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your night out at the cinema with friends . I used to get out to the cinema with girlfriends once a week . It was alot of fun just doing a girl night, you know getting away from husband and the kids for an evening .
What movie did you see? I hope it was a good one . I don't go to the cinema
much anymore because we live farther away from it now . I miss going to the cinema .

age not matter some thing is better then noting u did this in the age of 43.It is always very good that atleast u do this it is very interesting to watcha movie first time..when I was only of 10 at that time I watch movie first time..

May be that was why your aunt didn't want you to go to a movie theatre. The bad thing in dark was just an excuse.
No, I am not a movie goes these days. In my teen age, I was a fond of movies. One day, I watched three movie show, the next day, I watched another two. All in all 5 in two days. Movie freak was the term people used to call me with!

I can't remember when was the first time I got into a movie house but I am pretty sure I was just a kid when I first watched a movie. Then when the most number of times I tend to watch a movie was when I was in college. One thing is sure I never go alone. I never tried watching a movie along because I am afraid that there are some bad guys inside. I am not afraid of the dark because there are guides but not all cinemas here in Philippines had guides. Most do not have and I just do not know why. Anyway I love watching movie with my husband even before we were just in boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. Last Saturday we watch the Night At The Museum 2. That made a great Saturday and a very relaxing weekend. I and my husband loves watching movies especially in movie theaters.

Hi Mhethess,
I would love to go to movie house for every new movie that just come out, but i can't. Because just like you said, it's very expensive. I will choose some special days, go to the movie house watch the newest movie as a gife for meself! We should work hard, and play hard! Happy Mylotting!

I used to be a movie goer during my student years I would go at the least three times a week, and I enjoyed comedies, western, war , musical , historical , really all kinds. But now, these days, with my job taking so much time, I have no time to go to movies theatres. I would occasionally sit in front of the TV and watch movies just a few minutes.

hi..i cant remember when was my first time goes to movies but i know from my elementary grade we watch animation movie with my brothers and sisters in the philippnes but when i went college i seldom watch it..when iget married i ask my husband to watch movie but he doesnt like it..we just watch movies at home

yes i am a very movie goer, i like to watch movie on the theater i think its more fun as it has a bigger screen, my husband and i use to go movie once a week, i think going to see a movie is fun to spend time with your love one's and family. its a great get together and hanging around eating pop corn and soft drinks.

i started going to a movie house when i was in elementary... but it was when i was in college that i really got sort of "addicted" to movies... i watch every new show... sometimes i watch two movies in a day... lol... yep that was how i was in college. sometimes i watch all by myself, sometimes with friends... at other times i get "libre" from friends... 
i love watching movies... but when i got hearing impaired i seldom watch movies anymore...
the rate of movies now is also higher, another reason we dont watch movies.
its not yet too late to have fun thess...

It is wonderful that you did finally overcome your fear and went to the movie theater along with your friends.I love watching movies in theaters.I don't do it as frequently as I used to.But I do try and catch atleast 1 movie a month in a theater.I was around 7 years old when I went to the theater for the 1st time to watch a movie.Have ever since been hooked on to the experience.

From a very young age I have loved to watch movies. What is also interesting is that my taste in movies varies and I like almost every type of genre there is especially if it's a movie that is really good. The experience of going to a movie is something that I have enjoyed in my youth but nowadays since I don't have that much time from working full-time to be going to the cinema. I usually watch the newer movies as they become available on DVD.

I LOVE GOING TO THE MOVIES! everytime i go to the movies it just lets me free my mind for a while and get sent into a world where none of my problems matter. I also like to see the effects and how amazing it is to see them incorporate amazzing affects in holliwood movies

i enjoy going to the movies because i am not an outdoor type person and love being entertained and relaxing but we have not gone since last summer because we just do not have the money. i think the prices they charge for food are out of line and we refuse to buy snacks and bring our own. we used to go to the matinee also to save money but now we just do not go at all.

hello ma'am! my mother always bring me in a movie house even i am still a child, i think i was 7 that time i don't remember much, but i remember we watch movies for kids, when i was in high school i still do but with my mom still. the first time i watch movie with my friends is when i'm in college.
i love to watch movies but now i don't go to movie house as much as before because its quite expensive now going there and we have many dvd's and online movies available.

if i get bored and nothing to do, i usually go to the mall and see what's on showing then i would call my friend so that we can arrange for a time to watch a movie and eat out together. i love movies that are love story and adventure.

I am a ocassional movie goer. Not very often, but once in a month or maybe twice- only if there are no exams. And women don't usually go to films alone. At least, in my country- it's a big no-no.
And now that you enjoyed it, I hope you can go for more. Well watching movies are addiction for some people. Just make sure you are not turning out to be one of them!

I love going to the movies... Its so much fun... I went to the movies for the first time when I was six and have been a movie buff ever since...
It is too expensive, but when you consider how much it costs to make a movie these days its not hard to see why...
I'm not afraid of the dark, but I am clumsy and the movie theaters with the guides always make me feel better...
Anyway, I hope that you continue to go to the movies... There are some movies that just aren't the same when you see them at home!
