I just checked our local news website and just realized that this virus has entered our country already. Stupid of me haven't watching late news on the TV. 2 cases has been reported, the first was a 10 year old girl from US, and the other just recently, 50 year old woman also from US (Chicago). The girl however is in fully recovered with only mild sore throats now. And Taiwan has their 3rd case of virus from a woman coming from Manila. And it bothers me a lot coz I badly need to go to Manila by the end of the month. Is vaccine for this already available? Is it more dreadful than SARS? What medication should I take?

I think it is not something to worry too much about. Some of the experts say they swine flu is not so different from the normal flu that occurs every year. It seems it is the media and the politicians that are over hyping the whole swine flu thing. It seems all you need to do is just take the normal precautions you will take regarding any kind of flu and hopefully you will be fine.

Let me ask you a question neighbor, something for you to ponder. Do not worry I will tell you the most important things about H1N1 Just after, but first. Did you worry about it, when you weren't watching the news? Do you worry about anything when you don't watch the news? I don't watch the news, if something very important happens that pertains to me, that I should worry about, someone will tell me. The news is to biased and negative. All right, now that that is out of the way the H1N1 Flu, or the swine flu. Is treated the same way the seasonal flu. Wash your hands regularly, maintain a balanced diet, drink plenty of water. As a precaution against illness, this things should be done, regularly. If you have flu shots where you live get one. On a side note, last I heard the swine flu has killed about 300 people in the US. The number could be bigger that was about a week ago. The regular flu, kills 13000 people a year, in the US alone. So why worry about the H1N1. But like I said, wash your hands, balanced diet, plenty of water(2L) per day, minimum. Cheers.
