Do people leave you negative feedback related to the articles that you write on AC? When they leave the negative feedback is it actually accurate? I wrote an article about having a baby on a budget and using used cribs and car seats. I know hospitals recommend new and some doctors will say new. Most of the experts such as police, and pediatricians, will tell you you can by used furniture if you make sure it is safe. As far as car seats nothing 6yrs or older and for cribs - make sure cribs aren't broke and you can't fit your hand through the slats. Most of this is common sense.
This lady wrote in her response that hospitals and doctors recommend buying new and it was a risk buying used.
I realize I'm venting but that irritates me when you don't have your facts. Yes, hospitals recommend new. Pediatricians will recommend new or if you can't afford new will tell you it's okay to buy used. When you go to the fire department/police station safety they will sometimes give out used car seats. She failed to mention that! Of course she probably didn't have children.
So, has anyone left you an unintelligent comment on your articles that you need to make a rebuttal to defend your position?

haha mommaj, relax, relax, she may be a sales executive for the new cribs and car seats.
Anyway she is writing for the readers, probably wants to boost the sales of her company oh. Relax, this is not a malicious feedback, just someone with different viewpoints. Think you can add a few words to make the ranting article length and post in AC to make more money oh.

How come beside your name is 901? How do you have that much time?
Very funny. I ranted so much on Mylot I made my $10. HAHAHA
Okay, I am imagining her going door to door selling cribs and strollers because she only makes commission as her paycheck.

I think it is a matter of perspective. Sure her comments suggest a negative connotation but she said recommend, not require. I think you are upset because you think someone who is not so perceptive will see what you wrote and think you don't know what you are talking about. You can always do another article :-)

You're actually right.
Besides I have done so many articles on children that readers will either think I slipped on this one or as a parent I must be muddling my way through or possibly I know what I wrote about. My kids seem to be turning out allright. Of course in 5 years, who knows. I didn't kill them in infancy so I must have known what I was doing or I got lucky. Probably it was a little bit of both. If doctors can be practicing physicians can't we be practicing parents.

Yes I have gotten negative feedback and comments on my articles. One guy had the nerve to say that my grammar was bad yet his comment was lacking in that department as well. I had to tell him all the things that were wrong with his comment since he was so mean. I think that if they dont have anything nice to say then they shouldnt comment.
