Endometrioma , also called endometriotic cyst or chocolate cyst are endometrial tissues in the ovary.This causes dysmenorrhea and hypogastric pain.This is best managed by hysterectomy but for those who still have children, they may have GNRH agonistm oral contraceptive pills or medroxyprogesterone.It can also rupture thus emergency surgery is done.
