Have you seen this beatiful spot in actual viewing?

Mount Mayon Volcanoe @ Albay, Legazpi City - This is one of the beautiful angles you can see at Mt. Mayon Volcanoe during sunny unclouded skies...this angle was my reward of watching and waiting until it appeared on a sunny clear day...

Hey guys...this is one of the most beautiful pictures that I captured during my summer vacation Albay, Legazpi City...Have you visited this place recently? It was so wonderful and so beautiful. I wish I could be a poet so I could compose a poem while viewing this magnificent site I ever did see... In addition to this, we climb at their newly and still constructed nature's park, Lignion Hill..if you want to test your stamina and the strength of your knees you can try climbing, but if you have cardiovascular problem..just forget even just to think of it... Yes for all of those Bicolanos here on mylot who forget to visit their place you must to visit and see again. This region (Bicol Region) is progressing great..two of those progresses are Naga SM and beautiful CamSur, they have a wake boarding (am not sure of the right word as they commonly called it..) it is a very nice place..Try to visit guys am sure it would not be a waste of time... Anyone here who is a Bicolano..?

hi! i'm not a bicolano but i've visited bicol several times, since the time i was living in davao city. though my last visit was probably a little over a year ago already now that i'm based just south of manila. :) you have a lovely picture of the volcano. thanks for sharing it. i never fail to look outside my cabin window as the plane starts to make a landing in legazpi. those times are probably the closest i could ever get in viewing the volcano. and i like the fact that the pilots are making special landing procedures for a better view for the passengers. on a clear day, i'd see several flight passengers taking pictures of the sight immediately after deplaning. i miss the pili nuts and bicol express, and the beautiful native bags i've accummulated over the years of visiting bicol. just a little farther ahead from legazpi going to sorsogon is another wonderful experience i had before. as captivating as mayon, my butanding interaction is also a great experience. the next time i make a visit in albay, i'll look lignion hill up. :)

i can't claim to be staying in davao city anymore, although i visit davao city several times a year because of my freelance work and some members of my family live there. when i visited some rural communities in albay before, i saw from a distance a hill with what appears to be a view deck of some sort and perhaps a restaurant. i didn't know what it's called. would it perhaps be the same hill? :)

Hello maylesnarvaez I never thought you're from Davao as I am. Based on your statements I am very sure you really been at Bicol province because all the things you mentioned were really there...right now they are developing lignion hill that would let the people at the top can see comfortably the panoramic view of albay from the top of lignion hill...Cheers

Yeah being a Bicolano makes me prouder that our province is being noticed by many nowadays. I am from Cam sur and I have seen that our once a very silent and not so progressive province is gaining popularity because of the wakeboarding and the Caramoan Peninsula as tourist spots. I have been there for twenty years and only now that my province has been that popular. Before it was only the Albay province having Mayon in their place. Then when the whalesharks started appearing in Sorsogon that place was also made known from everyone. Now, its my province's time to shine I guess being known for the Wakeboarding capital and its pristine Caramoan peninsula as destinations to go to. I myself have not gone to Caramoan myself but maybe it the near future I am looking forward visiting that place too.

Our very young and progressive governor seems to be very aggressive in promoting our province for the past several years and it is working in his favor I guess and is making the province go alive.

Yes you're right my friend. I admire and appreciate your local government in their efforts to let your province gain upper hand in terms of tourism. Congratulations to your local government officials...

I have been there lately in Legaspi City as me and my boyfriend went there 3 weeks ago. We took flights from Manila to Legaspi as we need to go to Donsol for the Whale Shark Swimming. We spent two nights in Donsol then we spent another two days and one night in Legaspi before going home. The view of the Mount Mayon is really majestic especially in the Cagsawa Ruins, we don't have much time to go climbing as we are told that it takes two days to climb the volcano. Maybe we will do that next time. I also have plans to try the wakeboarding in Camarines Sur next summer.

Hello mob. It's been quite a while when I last replied to your discussion. You're lucky you have gone to the place. I have seen that only in postcards, everytime the history teacher would tell us to make a compilation of beautiful historic spots of the Philippines. Maybe next time, when I have enough money I could also have a vacation there. I'm sure it's a lovely place. Good to be here again my friend....

I haven't been to any volcano really. My dad is originally from Bicol but he didn't dare to bring us there. lol! He's a Manila boy right now so Manila is just our only destination. I can't even speak Bicolano. My dad is pretty lousy when it comes to introducing us to our roots. I would love to trace my roots though. I'm sure it will be a blast. Just for a week will do, i'm not used to nature tripping but i'd want to check SM Naga. lol!

So sad to hear that modstar. I think your father is not proud to be a Bicolano. If you can already stand on your own why not try to visit your father's province. Trace your roots while maybe some of your ancestors still alive. On their parts am sure they would be very happy to you than your father...am sorry don't get me wrong with your father...Bicol province now is gaining up in terms of tourism..see it for your self when you can visit Bicol...Cheers and Good Luck...

hi! I am a bicolana! I only got to trek the lignon hill last year! I almost didnt make it! It was hard the first time. but when you get at the top it was breathtaking. you get to see the mayon volvano and the sea. the best time to be there is before sun rise. you would really appreciate nature upon seeing it. I heard that now they have zipline there. yes, I am proud to be a bicolana. Its peaceful there and the place is not that polluted yet. I kinda miss the place specially if I am stuck in a traffic here in manila.

Hello phobe good day...yes I was there a couple of weeks ago. I've been there already four years ago but I was amazed the changes now. I always run from our place up to lignion hill. Though its breath-catching but it would be also worth rewarding when you reach at the top. Almost every morning I've been there. During late afternoon to late evening there are still plenty of people going because below there were already plenty of stuff for you to eat...YEs I really like the place. I will keep on coming there as long as I could have ample of time specially during summer season. They are developing the top, they created a zip-line, a breath taking one they build an infrastructure at the top and they really develop it. A year or two that would be more beautiful....MAGAYON NA ADLAW SA INDO GABUS..( am I saying it correctly?)..Cheers...
