Hello my friends I am back from a vacation. I went to the province of Dumaguete and it was a very enjoyable vacation. I visited a friend's family. My friend's family is so good to me. They are one of the nicest person I know. My words may not be enough to describe the way they simply treated me while I was there in there own home. I am thankful that I met them.

Hello Mr.Plus. Welcome back from the vacation. I am very happy to know that you enjoyed your vacation very much. Now we are still working and there is still another month left before we will start to have our summer vacation in early July. In fact, after about 25th of June, the students will be gone and we teachers will have to stay for another ten days on campus to do some paperwork and such. I am also looking forward to my summer vacation and travel back to my hometown by train.

I did not know you have a different schooling system. Anyway I am glad for the arrival of my summer vacation. You are welcome to pay a visit to China anytime you wish to, Mr. Plus.

Your summer is coming ours is going. Classes will start by June 8, 2009. This is going to be a very busy month for mommies and students. I wish you have fun on your hometown vacation. I haven't been to China but I want to visit your country someday. I will work hard this year for more vacations in the future. Thanks friend.

We have the same fate when I was a student. I never thought that I will have this opportunity to travel to different places. Maybe my luck is with the airfare I get every time there is a sale for airfares. I bought another ticket to Bangkok for September and I got it for only 2,800 pesos round trip. Attend to your studies and I bet you will have what you want in the future.

Its so nice to have wonderful people at different places whom you can go visit for a short vacation. Frankly speaking, travelling and staying at hotels have become so expensive, I really cant travel more than once a year. One of my grudges against my extended family (though I dont tell them that)is that none of them stay anywhere other than this city where I stay too...I have no friends or relatives outside Calcutta whom I can go visit for a short period!
So glad you enjoyed your trip...where is this province of Dumaguete?

Dumaguete is located in the southern part of the Philippines. It is in the island of Negros. It is adjacent to the mystical island of Siquijor and less than 30 minute fast track ride to Cebu. The food is delicious and the people are warm. There is an affordable massage parlor there that makes you relax.

I have a friend who went to Dumaguete a few years ago with his friends. They said that their stay in the hotel was nice and was actually affordable. What they didn't like about the place was that they couldn't swim in the beach because the shore was filled with jagged rocks, very dangerous! They ended up swimming in the hotel pool instead.
Were you able to enjoy the beach when you were in Dumaguete?
It's nice to hear that you have such a friend and that you liked being with his family. :P But wouldn't your own parents be the nicest person you know?

There are many other places to visit in Dumaguete. If you love the waters you can try Dauin a nearby town. It is a marine sanctuary or take Valencia for cool spring water. Antulang is one great escape too. You can also do whale watching in Bais and also try the White Sand Bar. You will definitely enjoy the whole island of Negros.

It is always nice to have friends from far away places and by the time you visit them they welcome you with big hugs and kisses. I am a friendly person I can say. I love my friends and I know who my friends are. Friends are like family to me. I treat them the best I can and they do the same to me.
