The Deccan Chargers won the IPL 2009

The terrific show put up by the charges this year. They were last rank in the IPL 2008 and this year they are lifting the trophy. Gilchrist lead from the front with some good performances by Rohit Sharma, Symmonds and gibbs. In the bowling department RP singh steal the show with great help from P Ojha and R Harris. all n all a great team win.

Hello,Rajesh! The IPL2009 trophy lifted by the Deccan Chargers only because of the all round performance by Rohit Sharma and good bowling of RP Singh and Manpreet Sing and P Ojha.However the team played superb and out played the RCB.thanx.

They really played well and its a well deserved win. Although Gilcrist didn't scored but was really good at field while captaining, and got the whole team fired up. Turning point for me was the dismissal of Dravid and those two wickets by Symonds. Ya Rohit Sharma and R.P Singh are more than any other factor responsible for them getting on top from the bottom last year.
