plans for memorial day

Does anyone have any plans for memorial day? I do not. I have to watch both of my granddaughters on Memorial Day since both of my girls are working. When you work in retail you always have to work on holidays and both of them works in retail. I am going to cook ribs & brisket and we will have to eat when everyone gets off work tomorrow. Yesterday, I went to my cousin's sons wedding.

We are going to down play it some. We will start the day with daddy's pancakes, his specialty, then go to the pool for a party, be at the flag raising in the neighborhood around noonish, we will then go home around four.
The neighbors are coming over for a bbq that evening, we are having baby back ribs, grilled corn on the cob, pasta salad, potato salad, and of course Key Lime cheese cake.. Yum.. I just gained ten lbs typing all of that.
