Girls create video depicting different ways to kill a classmate

I follow a mother on Twitter that posted this news story and I'm pretty disturbed by it. Apparently, girls created a video depicting all the ways that they could kill a girl in their class. The video is called, plainly enough, Kill Piper and the video shows them making her commit suicide, poisioning and shooting her. It seems that the age of which kids are starting this kind of thing is starting earlier and earlier. What would you do if this video was created about your daughter? Would you remove your child from school? http://news.aol.com/article/kill-piper-video/496932

That's pretty horrible. I think that many teens do things and talk about things without really thinking about how bad it actually is. Would I take my daughter out of her school if they made a video like that about her? It would depend. I'd talk to her and see how serious of a problem it is. I'd find out if these girls were seriously bullying her on a regular basis or if there was some type of mutual hatred going one. It would depend on my daughter and if I thought she could handle the circumstances or not.

I heard that, too! It made me feel like s***! If I had a child and they did that, I would probably disown them!

i would go to the school and the police and make and complain. this is awful young kids are thinking of this, but what worst they got it all figure out how to do it. i would have to take my daughter or son out of that school for sure. and talk with the other parents and let them thier kid(s( need some serouis help for sure. and if it was my kids who made this video they wouldnt see day light for many of years. and wouldnt be allow the to have tv, or the net. ok they wouldnt be allow to do nothing at all. and take them to get help. too me there is an big issue there these kids need to help. and if their parents wouldnt do anything, then i would have to hurt them. this is so sad. and what worst so many parents dont keep tap on thier kids to advoid this.

oh my, that is horrible. I could not imagine how kids could do that kind of video. Maybe there is really some mutual hatred going on with them.. Its a serious thing I guess, the teachers and parents should be responsible for sorting this out. If that would happen to my daughters, I would probably heart to heart talk my daughter if what is real going on. If my daughter is bothered or worst traumatized by this, I will surely transfer her to another school. That maybe is the first best thing I can protect my kids..

i think thats something that would happen once in a lifetime as most of the schools kids are more focused on studies or trying to be popular and cool

Lord what is the word coming to when young kids are making videos such as this. I think it is terrible. I mean they are only 11 and 12 year olds. Seems they are trying to grow up to fast and it is crazy that they feel this is the only way to deal with a problem is with violence or the thought of it anyhow. Those girls need help I do hope they get it. I also think they should be watched closely and monitored so that they can't do this again. I am just glad that it hadn't gotten farther.

When I read/saw this I was disbelieving. That is just horrible that those girls could do that, but what's even more horrible that many of those parents didn't even care! I would have been beyond worried and frustrated(that's putting it nicely). I wouldn't have just taken it to the school, or the parents, I would have seen if there was something else I could do to make those girls realize that that was not the best way to handle anything.

That is absolutely sickening. I can't believe what kids are doing nowadays. I don't know if I would change my child's school but it would definitely be considered. One thing that I would never consider is taking my child completely out of school and home schooling. I believe children should be in school with other children. I wonder how those children were disciplined. If I was one of their mothers I don't know what I would do.

Reason #4000 why I home school my kids! I would take my kid out of the situation and then I'd do everything I could to take care of the situation. This kind of stuff just sickens me because people think they can do whatever they want and that its justified, I hope this person gets caught, you apparently have the power to let somebody know about it.

It is such a sad thing.......to a large extent it is the mistake of the parents who dont care enough to keep a tab on thier children......many are just interested in earning more and more money or incresing the market value of thier businss......the kids are left at home with thier maids........what do you expect them to learn.......and we need to deal with kids carefully as they tend to pick up things very fast(good/bad)........the domestic fights that take place in front of the kids can also welcome much of the damage...... Dont give the kids so much of access that they go to an extent of creating such disastrous things..........give them love......take them out with you........teach them some moral values and keep them in the presence of god........and then i feel nothing can go wrong.........

This hits close to home as I live only about 30 minutes from Spanaway where this girl and her mom live. If I were the mom indeed I would pull the daughter from that school but now the problem is since the story has been blasted all over the news this girl will not be able to go anywhere without being teased by other children. It's very unfortunate because not only does she now have to fear for her life, but she has to worry about going out into public because other kids her age will most likely tease her, call her names, and make the situation worse than it already is. My prayers go out to her and her mom I truly hope things get better for them, I also believe something charges should be brought against the girls that made the video because if nothing is really done about it, it will become more common for this to happen as the kids will think they can get away with making videos like this and only get in a small amount of trouble for it.

I saw that on the news and thought how sad it is that our youth these days are so exposed to such horrible things such as murder. I was most outraged when I saw that the girls essentially got off scott-free. Personally, I believe they shouldve been expelled.
