Hi lotters, how many of you come from China?and how much do you know Dragon-boat Festival if you are not Chinese? welcome to share more with me . there are two best important things during Dragon-boat Festival as follow:1?Dragon Boat race(it is nice race)Traditions At the center of this festival are the dragon boat races. Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats forward to the rhythm of beating drums. These exciting races were inspired by the villager's valiant attempts to rescue Chu Yuan from the Mi Lo river. This tradition has remained unbroken for centuries. 2?Zongzi(i like much)Zongzi is a special food in Dragon boat Festival.i like to eat much.it made by sticky rice wrapped up on bamboo leaves.if you have chance to taste it,just have a try you will like i think. do you know more about Dragon boat Festival?

Hi, Cindy. I know more about Dragon-boat Festival. You pointed out the most two important things which are dragon boat race and Zongzi. I watched the dragon-boat race yesterday in my city and my wife bought some Zongzi for the Dragon-boat Festival. There is another thing of the Dragon-boat Festival you didn't mentioned. -Spice-bag! As I was a young boy, my grandmother made many Spice-bag for me, she used to sew it into my cloths. I will buy a gift for my grandmother today because the Dragon-boat Festival is her birthday.

I think I've seen the Dragon boats before on the Travel Channel. There's a TV show called "Dhani tackles the globe" Dhani, the host, participates in a sport in every country he travels to. In the episode where he went to China, he did a Dragon boat race.

oh yes, i had seen it already when we were traveling by car in Bay view walk in Roxas Boulevard. the Philippine Dragon Boat was practicing that morning. i know that Dragon Boat had a drummer on the back or in the front of the boat, sorry i can't remember that. Dragon Boat is consisted of more than 15 person in one boat, all together they row with all their effort reaching the finish line.

Hi Cindy.. Thanks for sharing.. I am not the Chinese or Chinese descent, but I happy with the Chinese culture. Unfortunately, I had not know about the dragon boat. What I know about 'BARONGSAI' (dragon or lion, played by some people).

Hello cindy. I am glad that Dragon-boat Festival is coming soon. Here in Zhejiang, we can eat Zongzi every day because they are seen on sale everywhere and you can buy Zongzi in a supermarket, in a street restaurant and school canteen. Here we have different flavors of Zongzi. I love to eat Zongzi. Happy Dragon Festival.
