The comparison between soap and body wash: Soap is lower in price. And a piece of soap can last very long. However, as for hygiene wise, it is not very hygienic as compared to the body wash. It is left in the open, dirts and germs may have stayed on the piece of soap. And then you use it on your body... Body wash or body foam is more hygienic. A bottle of body wash is enclosed within the bottle. You just need to squeeze out whatever amount needed and the rest left untouched. Body wash contains moisturizer which smoothen the body and you will not feel skin is dry after washing. However, body wash is much more expensive as compared to soap.

for me , there is no different soap and body wash , i have both in my bathroom , it's depend on my mood which one to use everyday . for my family members , they prefer to use soap , especially my daughters, they like to rub and rub on the soap and see a lot of bubbles , they think is fun .

Dear Lynnchua. Body wash is much better then a soap. Because body wash always in close bottle so it always be untouched and soap is always touch by other family memebers and normally keep open. The fragrance also more fresh in body wash as compare to soap. So in every compare Body wash is much better then soap. But only one is negagive thing that Body wash is much costlier then soap. Happy Mylotting.

Soap normally drys the skin out more. Body wash is normally more soft on the skin. But not always. There is really not so much difference.

Body wash are more hygienic because the content is not touched by hands and a bar of soap is touched by different persons.Personally i use liquid soap for washing my hand off germs and dirt and i use soap bar as it comes cheaper.

for me the difference between the two is that the body wash is more expensive than the soap, and also it takes time to take a bath when you are using one as you need to use a loofah or scrub to lather it on your body, whereas the soap, you can use it right away if you are in a hurry. but when it comes to cleaning your body personally i think there's no difference between the two.

johnson's top to toe wash - very economical and practical to use on babies (provided of course they don't have any allergy to any of this product's ingredients). i used to use this myself till i realized i have to lather my hair 3x to get it in the state i deem clean.
way back then i used johnson's top to toe wash. i finish faster in the shower and it is not so drying to my sensitive skin. however, this proved not economical since i have to lather my hair even 3x to get the lather i deem decent enough. johnson's is not so good with their shampoos...
