Chosing curtins is not easy, there are so many stiles, pattern and colors that when you are looking to find something new I find it difficult. I like the oldfashion types of curtins. I like to use curtins that frames my windows and make my room cosy. I use length and pelmet. In my kitchen I want my curtins to be blue checked and in my living roome I like my curtins to have lace and the color is one colored. In my bedroom I use warm colors that keeps me cosy when I go to sleep. Recently I was looking to by new curtins. But there was so many new stiles and I do not like the new fashion of curtins. But, I found new to the kitchen as I described above and white pelmets for my living room. I am really pleased with my shopping and I found them online.

I can't wait to someday shop for curtains. I've lived in two different apartments since I graduated college and both have had blinds. Now that I'm getting married this summer, I'm sure that when my fiancee and I move we'll jazz up our place with curtains. Before I just never really had the money for them and since the apartment complex provided blinds I never felt the need for them!

I live in a beach house with 13 windows . For me the best are the ones you make yourself . Buy the material or pretty flat sheets and sew them yourself , and save a little money. Here you want light and airy to leave in the breeze , sheets work just fine !

congrats on your shopping online. for me i want my curtains to be light, colorful, colors that are not so bright... mostly i want flower designs, that is what i have in my living room. in my bedroom i have light colored curtains, yellow and light blue with simple designs. i dont really curtains that are plain, and those with lace... i want them to be colorful. and i sew them by myself. i buy textile by yards then sew them by hand or sewing machine, whatever my mood is.

We don't really have to many curtains in our house, except the bedroom for discretionary reasons. I really don't see the need for them in any other part of the house. I like to easily see outside, and for a while when we did have curtains, we found that we always had them open so we could look out. After a while we thought, "why have them anyway, since we always have them open?". In the bedroom we prefer Venetian blinds. They are much easier to open and close than most curtains , and hold up to wear and they're more, when you use them a lot, as we do.

I guess, that many those days do not think curtins are that important. But for me, no curtins make my home so boring and to cold, it do not feel cosy for me. But I guess some things are not needed if your are on a budget and have lots of windows...lol

I'm into the Roman Shade type of curtains lately. I like them because they look neat, especially for the bedroom and you can have a double layer of it so it totally blocks in more light that enters through your window.
