Unsettling Movie The Ring

Wasn't The Ring among one of the most unsettling type disturbing scary movies of its time? I mean there was something very odd about the little girl and though there weren't many scenes that made people jump, it was a different kind of horror? Were you a little unsettled by this movie?

Who doesn't love a creepy kid moive?In The Innocents,a re working of Henry James novel The Turn of the Screw,Deborah kerr stars as a governess hired by Michael Redgrave to care for two kids.Are these children just precocious little trouble makers?Or,are they under the control of the deceased evil former servants? The governess sticks around to find out,which ,as it turns out ,probably isn't such a good idea.
