I was a perfectionist! Now, I am no longer one. i don t want to be any more.
Do you know what is a perfectionist? When a person is a perfectionist?
1. when no effort is ever good enough
2. when you become fearful of making mistakes or of being humiliated
3. everything must be perfect
4. when you never seem to have enough time to do your best
5. when you demand perfection and intolerant of others's mistakes
Are you tired to make all perfect?to try all time to be the best? to make people to admire you?To see all what people don t make good?

I realized that being a perfectionist is not such a bad thing as long as you don't make yourself miserable. It is important to enjoy things even when they are not perfect.
So, what kind of person do you are? you like to make all perfect?

Being perfect is a good practice though but i don't think we can maintain that all throughout. Being perfect is quite difficult. I'm not really a perfectionist but i expect everybody to do things the right way. The most obvious ones. Some people are just too stubborn to follow simple rules and it kind of annoys me. I try to be more patient though. Being a perfectionist doesn't really mean a bad thing. Sometimes it helps on one's improvement.

Ah...the perfection paralysis! I read the term in a book by Wayne Dyer; nothing will paralyse you like attempting to do everything perfectly because you never will, it is impossible; if you are a human you are imperfect.
I was brought up by perfectionist parents especially my father; I'm in my forties and I still cannot please him! Like you I made the decision a while ago that I could cope with so much pressure because I took over from my parents as far as putting excess burden on myself.
I still struggle with perfectionism these days although I am a lot better. I can actually relax when the house is less than spotless!
Living a perfectionist life is exhausting and draining and a lot less is achieved because of the fear of making a mistake; it is no way to live...

Even though I can't claim to be a perfectionist,I always try to give out my best towards perfection. It is clear that we need other people co-operation to be perfect. But it is very hard to reach that.Even then I complete my part to a satisfying point and the whole outcome shall not be perfect. So,don't lose heart.Try to be perfect. At the least you live your life content.Cheers!

Well I have OCD in keeping my house clean and everything in order. Its hard though with my daugher, her husband and my 3 year old granddaughter. So at times I'm a bit frustrated because things are not as neat as I like it.
