I broke my heel in a bad car accident in 2006 and could not walk for about 6 months. Then had 4 months of physical therapy three times per week.
I ended up getting a plate and 9 screws in my foot to hold it all together and so i deal with swelling and arthritis pain everyday. I also cannot bend my foot in the middle so no more high heels for me.
When my feet hurt my day is pretty much shot. What kind of constant pain are you in and how do you deal with it? I take glucosamine for joint pain and that seems to work great.

How awful! My surgeon only wanted me on pain killers but I cannot work that way. The glucosamine worked for me so I keep it handy all the time. I have not tried celebrex. Hope your surgery goes quick and is successful too!

Im not in constant pain but I do get pain regularly in my back as I suffer from something called Hyper-mobilty syndromem and the only way I can control the pain is to have physio on it occasionally when i feel I need it and to take the pain-killers the physio prescribed me. I also ahve to do daily exercises as well.

that is what my surgeon kept giving me - pain pills but after awhile they do not work as good and I ended up taking more and more. I cut them out and started with the natural supplement that my brother told me about and it worked like a charm.
