Ok, I admit, I want to be at home with my kids. Who wouldn't want to be with the kids more than most of us are? Lets face it, I don't know about you, but I DID NOT have kids to let some one else raise them for me. Atleast thats how it feels sometimes. I have it better than most, I have a very loving mother who watches the kids so that my husband and I can work full time. God Bless our Mothers!!! Ok so back to what I started to say: I have been doing a search for work from home jobs, yep! I have! The programs that are out there are huge scams meant to prey on mothers and fathers like me and my husband......."work from home in you PJ's" "make money while on vacation" "Earn THOUSANDS of dollars a week". Most of them are pretty obvious, they are SCAMS!!! But what about the one that looks legit? I was doing a search and found "Google cash" It looked pretty good, only $1.95 for one program and $1.00 for the other, to make an extra $300-$500 per week. Hey it looked pretty good to me, it wasn't like the others promising $5000 per week for doing nothing. But, I am one of those silly people that reads the TOS(terms of service) PEOPLE!!! you have got to be careful! This is a rant on those BS work at home scams!! IF you READ the TOS, it tells you that you will be charged any where from $38.00 - $75.00 per month for the "support fees" or "member fees" or "training" OH MY GOSH!!! what about the people who don't read the TOS?? Has anyone ever been scammed by one of these? This is our place to vent! Does anyone know of a legit, no fee, real work from home job, that doesn't risk your integrity? I admit, I would love to sit in my PJ's all day long and do nothing and earn "thousands of dollars" But, I don't mind an honest days work either. I wouldn't mind a really well paying job, that would allow me to still invest time with the kids, and be able to be there for all the school functions, or take a Mommy day, and just enjoy the kids. Anyone else out there feel the same way?

What kind of work is it? How are you paid? I am interested in finding a stay at home job, but I don't want to be pulled into a scam. Further more, I don't even want to waste my time thinking about scams. I'd like to hear more about what you do.

I too am in that boat. I have been looking for sometime now to find something that would generate income working from home. Most of the stuff I have looked at are scams. Knowing this has not stopped me from continuing the search. Just a word of caution-if it sounds to good to be true it is probably not true. I was just wondering if you have thought about blogging for pay. www.wantingtowork.today.com

I know of one website that I have found legit work at home jobs that cost you nothing. There is a membership fee to the site, one time fee of 18.00 and it is a lifetime membership. My best friend paid for the membership and we share the information, we have both have had several great jobs from this site. I do not get paid from the site, as I said we share the log in information and there are good companies that offer some great opportunities. www.homejobstop.com. Also anytime they offer something that appears too good to be true, it usually is!

I have recently resigned from a job I had for 3 years already due to being tired all the time and would rather stay home to watch my son. I have been jobless for 2 months already and just started doing online stuff like myLot to earn. Is there any sites that also take people from Asia? Most of the sites only lets US based people and thus I am not able to join.

I feel the same way as you do, I have to growing active boys in my house with only my mom in law to take care of them. And I get so worried and frustrated with the influence they might be getting since my MIL can be so traditional and has a really different mindset as I do. I mean, she is loving and caring. I don't have any problem with that but I want to be able to raise my kids, my way. I don't want to risk them growing up to be bratty because their grandma always let them have their way. Anyways, I am also looking for ways to earn online. I think sites that connects service providers with companies is good except you will have to make sure that the clients would notice you among so many who are bidding for the job. Odesk is one of the places that you can look. If you are going to ask me if I already got a job there, no, I haven't because my day job is too demanding to allow me to make bids and to complete the task needed. I wanted to give it a try but after signing up (no payment)I soon found out that I can't add more load anymore. So i just settle for sites like mylot because I can squeeze posting discussions during lunch breaks or just before I leave the office and I do not have a deadline to meet. Its ok if I earn only a few cents, at least I get to earn something rather that surf the net and not earn anything at all.

I understand how you feel. I am currently pregnant with my first child and I would LOVE to not have to go back to outside work after I have him. The only legit work from home jobs I've found require special equipment or special education. It would be SO NICE if people weren't so scamming and actually put stuff out there that was honest so that we wouldn't waste our time looking at bogus opportunities. Let me know if you find anything that works!

i would stay well clear of all work from home sites. i have tried so many and lost so much money. you either have to pay them to register your details then find out they are a scam or you join the free ones and dont get anything. my advice would be never to give out money (even ones with money back guarentees as they alsways find a way around getting out of this). i do agree with you though i got looking as i was a single mum who wanted to stay at home with her kids without claiming benefits. and you would think that because the internet is such a huge source there would be ample things to find to make money - as yet i havent found any if you do though please let me know but just be careful!! p.s if you do decide to go for one and you have to pay (although i would totally advise against it) never give out your credit card details only use via paypal or similar to avoid identity fraud! there are so many people who just want to take your money out there and dont care to what expense this costs you - be careful! hope this is of some help
