My vote is for Norton 2009, kaspersky 2009, and panda security 2009? Norton internet security gets my vote because it is so easy to use, doesn't take up system resources, and the firewall is top-notch. Kaspersky is kinda slow but still good. Panda security is great this year. What u guys think?

I think Norton is but then again you have to pay for it. Panda is pretty good but i think Norton is the best. I have it on my computer and it does an awesome job finding possible threats and doing frequent automatic virus checks.

amen to that! I think that is very true. I got Norton and ever since i installed norton on my comp......no more trojans, etc.....and the firewall is exceptional. I use to have avast and i noticed that there were intrusions but with norton, none at all. I am currently using Norton Internet Security and i highly recommend it......360 is a bit of an overkill

I've been using Avira which is a free anti virus and it is quite good..The updates are easily downloadable and regular updates keep the system protected well enough.

I just use some common anti-virus software like ruixing. Actually, I always reinstall my computer system. So, the viruis thing is not a big deal

My favourite is Kaspersky. Unlike Norton it does not consume a lot of resoursces on the PC and does not slow it down. I am surprised you found Kaspersky to be slow. I know many people who use Kaspersky and they are all very happy with it. I have not tried panda, so cant say much about it.

I would say that Kaspersky is the Best. Also Bit Defender is nice too. I would also like Norton, but it makes the computer go slow!!

I have used nortan but it slow down pc as well as consume lot of internet bandwidth which cause me lot of trouble, later I have used kaspersky but it won't work well for me as well....I don't perfer to use any other freeware antiviurs since they aren't good and provide limited services....so I move to deepfreeze its good and freeze drive I have freezed my c drive and now for me everything fine...I don't get nay trouble now....all my pc work smoothly....just like new formatted pc.

No antivirus is best but there are good antivirus programs, which detects and repair viruses and are active all the time, my saying of good antivirus is because no antivirus scanner is 100% perfect. I am using two virus scanners on my system. one is Avira (free) and another is EScan...both are good and if avira is unable to detect then esan detect the virus...

For the past one year I have been using a number of antivirus programs like Norton, AVG, Antivir etc but could not get the satisfaction required. Last month I got hold of Kaspersky antivirus program and to my astonishment, it was proved to be the best and on using it I reached utmost level of satisfaction. Since using it I never felt any problem with my system. Definitely Kaspersky is the best antivirus program available in the market today.

I went from using AVG to Avast. I've noticed greater things about Avast that my old AVG didn't do. Such as, reporting to me about a virus and giving me the options to repair or delete it. When I was using AVG I would have to run a full scan in order to delete the file. But with Avast, as soon as the file is found or downloaded I get an immediate response asking me what to do. I've also noticed that is seems to remain in a state of constant scanning. I also could never get AVG to remove all of the Viruses that it found. Sometimes it would find a virus in my java folder's but it said that is could not remove the file. When I started using Avast, I have not yet found a virus that is could not remove. It also seems to help remove malware to.
