I have the orginal IPhone which I got 2 years ago. As I have had it for the last 2 years I am now eligible for a new phone. I love the ease and the size and the music (and I could go on and on) of the IPhone and I especially love the way it syncs with my MacBook. One language. . one platform and I just downright love the way Apple products think. But now here is my dilemma, next semester my daughter is going abroad. She use a Blackberry and adores it for the BBM (Blackberries messaging program). When she is away we communicate alot by texting and with her going abroad texting is the answer to "talking" to her everyday. With a Blackberry on AT&T I can text with her unlimited for an additional $9.99 (international package). So I think I will have to forgo my new 3G IPhone and go with a Blackberry:( Does anyone have any feedback on which Blackberry to go with and maybe a few words convincing me I am not going to be miserable without my IPhone??????????

I've only had my iphone for about three weeks, and I have been showing off all the things it can do to my jealous parents. But, My parents on the other hand just so happens to have a blackberry phone and I must say they are better than the iPhone because the memory is upgradeable, I have a 8gb iPhone, and my dad has a removable memory card that carries upto 16Gb of memory, ontop of that the his phone does almost everything my iPhone does. Except he doesn't have to worry about using a file converter to convert videos from avi, mpeg, mpg, or even wmv to get it to work on his phone. He also can download themes and ringtones for his phone without paying for it or having to buy extra expensive software just to convert the files to work properly with his phone. Besides a blackberry phone is considered to be more business like, while an I phone should be considered more for personal entertainment and teen interest.

mmm iphone are for end users. is a trend, it have a lot of applications and posibilities.. the blackberry is a phone designed for working people as personal assistant only. the iphone can do that but is not that specialized is more versatile. the advantaje that I see in blackberry is the bb network that comes with it that allows you to chat with other friends using that network like in msn messenger. beside that is nothing impresive. i recommend you if you arent a business person, dont waste your money in an blackberry

Im sorry but as the proud owner of a 3G im going to just have to say keep the Iphone with all the apps avaliable on the store im sure you can find somehing to rival balckberrys offering. Inevitably in the future you will meet somone with an Iphone and get one of those "i wish i bought that" moments, but its up to you!
