She was only 4 years old. She was playing on a treadmill and got hung by the safety cord. That is so sad. My heart goes out to Mike Tyson and his family right now. We need to take this as a lesson and watch our children on treadmills and other things of that sort. These things are not toys and children should not be playing on them.

I totally agree with you. I babysit my granddaughter 5 days of the week and I'm constantly watching every move she makes. Kids are curious and always into things. I can't imagine what the mother and Mike Tyson are going thru. It is a heartbreaking story that I hope others will learn from.

People always ask "Why does God let such terrible things happen" Well, I believe that some things happen so that others can learn a lesson from it. I feel bad for the little girl, but she was an angel and her life lost will hopefully save a million lives of other children. Maybe people will wake up and realize that not everything is safe for children to use.

Oh so sad for them. Do you know Mr. Tyson personally? but treadmill? It is an exercise instrument, isn't it? I didn't see any string attached to it. I am sorry but how can one die by an exercise instrument and that too was use by a 4 years old, shocking very much shocking!

No, I dont know him personally. Thee's a safety cord attached to a treadmill, usually. It is to turn it off automatically in an emergency.

I doubt it. My guess is that she was playing around on it and somehow got the cord wrapped around her neck or something.

I can't believe what happens sometimes. That is one accident that was probably never ment to happen and could have been stopped if paid attention to. My heart goes out to the family know. I do know what it's like losing someone that young and so close.

My heart goes out to Mike Tyson and his family for their loss. I can't imagine their pain. This was a horrible accident. I hope they can accept the peace that passes all understanding through Jesus and be comforted by Him.
