Will present recession turn to depression?

It can if not controlled emotions and all. I feel the financial downturn to be a very saddening moment and it's not helping that there are illnesses nowadays and the weather is not looking great too. I'm thankful that I still have my job and for those whom are on the verge of losing their jobs or have been retrenched, I understand how they feel totally. If only they could just concentrate on how to get back on track, I hope they can regain their strength and confidence back soon. It's never easy to get back on track but with the love and support of close family and friends, it can be done.

Unfortunately the economy does not seem to be turning around at all. More and more people are being laid off, prices continue to rise, and the US government continuing "bailouts" won't help in the long run. It seems a depression is coming for sure.

we are trying not to get there. but I heard we are already there. the most important thing is to hold on and keep trying to work things out if you lose your job then try get new one or cut expenses or sell your stuffs just to get by it's true everyone is cutting expenses these days incluing employers but if you are willing to work part time and accept lower pay you might get something low pay is better than nothing
